looking to get a set of axle backs for my EB 'vert. Curious if anyone has them, and if so how do they sound with the top down. I was looking at the AWE touring axle backs. Video on you tube sounds fine in the cabin on the 'vert with the top up, but can't find any clips with the top down.

got mine yesterday and everything was there. will probably do the install over the weekend.

seems they only list the "deluxe" ones as the current version. probably just the newer version. I just order a full set, waiting for them to be shipped.

did you end up doing the rears without removing the tires? and install issues? any hints to doing it this way.

can the rears be installed without removing the wheels? I live in an apartment an don't have jacking equipment and would have to do this in the street so wheel removal is really an issue.

. the issue I have is I live in an apartment in Manhattan and don't have a place or the tools to remove the bumper, dremel out the old grill etc, so this looked like and easy alternative to get a new look.

funny, ok I got the message from one and all. Guess the grill will stay stock.

Has anyone installed these billet grills? opinions about the look. More of a retro 60' than the mesh style grills a lot of guys use...

installed an Airaid MIT and Green Filter, kept the original airbox. tomorrow is wash day. took a ride today(5-2-). Power off the line seemed much better with the new MIT and filter, and definitely sounds better

I agree. When you're parked next to a SUV, van or truck it's great. Saved the ass end of my car more than once.

I'm planning to install an Airaid MIT on my EB this weekend. First instruction is to disconnect the negative battery cable. I'm curious as to why. Engine and ignition is off during install. Will be keeping the stock airbox and adding a green filter.

about the same price as "love the drive" blocker here, but i think your's is a little nicer looking, but not offered by Ford here in the US
