Let me know if you need any help deciding what hardware you need, the arduino can be setup with a small display to show all the vitals that you'd want as well. but a thermo switch and relay is probably more than enough for this
Honestly, I'd just take a torque wrench to it some have found them to be really loose.
its not necessarily a bad bearing just a tiny bit of play between the shaft and hub
Covid 19 Update:
Got my G force data logger built one of the stepping stones to getting this to work. This was pretty simple hardware wise, an Arduino, Sd card writer, display and G Force sensor.
Push button to start/stop logging and display actual G force. the hard part was getting a nice...
A potentiometer will not work, the valves are looking for a Lin network signal to relay status to the ECU and vice versa.
won't be able to get a variable stepped opening and closing, its either open or closed,
it could be timed to open partially but it would be inconsistent
Thanks guys, you are too kind. this is a relatively easy project and would be willing to walk anyone through this if they want more info, I'll also have a kit ready shortly for whomever wants to do the same thing without building the electronics.
This is my small project, my big project is a...
i replaced my subframe, my bushing was completely torn through and it wouldn't make any difference if i had used an insert as the metal sleeve would still move in the torn bushing.
I bought a whiteline kit KDT933 but never installed it, if you're interested in it shoot me a DM
Hey guys,
for the last little while i was super determined to install an active gt350 exhaust on my GT PP1.
the wiring diagrams make it seem simple 3 wires 2 to power and 1 to the ECU.... Not so much.
I did have Roush axle backs but was so over the highway drone so I figured i'd sell them...
