Installed Redline hood struts. Easy install but the hole in the battery cover needs to be bigger than the bit they supply. Probably took 15 minutes to get it all done.

Makes me happy I did not make the same mistake. I was soooo close to a 6-speed for the same reasons, but ended up going automatic. Glad you could afford your dream.

Put on the locking lug nuts that the dealer did not install and I did not notice were missing. When I picked it up yesterday I was pretty thorough looking for dings, misalignments, etc but missed the locking nuts. They were in the trunk. Easy enough to do myself in 5 minutes.

What is the electrically locking center console look like? I have the ES option and I have not figured out how this works. We are talking the door that opens up to the auxiliary jack and sd slot right? Mine has manual latches.

Love the black hood treatment, but not too thrilled with the graphics on the hood. They are a bit plain for my taste.

Idoc, That is how it occurred for me also. From what I understand when the order goes into the production system you get the VIN assigned but not a build date. After about a week or so it moved to "In Production" on COTUSbut the widow sticker would not load. A few days later the Blend date and...

My blend date is also 6/1. Obviously the window sticker is now showing up as well. I can't remember the last thing I've been so obsessed about.

Well my EDD of 6/25 disappeared from COTUS over the weekend, drove me crazy for a few days. But today COTUS says IN PRODUCTION. Hopefully we will beat the old EDD by a week or two.

I noticed this too but then I noticed the TOTAL equaled what the Ford website quoted as xplan. My suggestion is to go to the xplan site, build your car with the correct zip code and look at the price. It should match the total of the printout you get from the dealer. The printout breaks down...
