IMO the easy drain ones aren't worth it unless you're going to attach a hose to the end to drain it closer to the pan. I would still take it out every change after it drains through the valve because the valve sits up higher than the bottom of the pan and you would still have a little residual...
The 2018 power pack airbox has a different shape to account for the engine cover and hood vent. The 350 and 500 are very similar and I'm going to try and make the 500 cover fit with as little modification as possible. But if it doesn't fit right my OCD won't allow it lol.
I have a GT350 intake waiting for when I put on my GT350 manifold. I just ordered the GT500 airbox cover to see if that will fit without too much modification. But if it comes down to it I am going to order the GT500 airbox as well. Cheapest I could find them was on Tasca.

Hello all,
I am in search of a factory GT500 airbox lid. Curious if anyone has one lying around from an intake or supercharger upgrade they would be willing to sell. Shipping would be to 08027.
Thanks!
Dave
No problem! I found the thread where he originally posted that pic as well as a few others and it is definitely a PP2 spoiler.

I got 12k miles out of my original set of Cup 2's on my PP2 with no track days and a little spirted driving. Normal driving was about 75% highway 25% city. Cords were showing on the inside edge of the fronts when I replaced them. I'm on my second set of Cup 2's now but I plan on switching to...
So in my quest to make my PP2 more of a parts bin car, I picked up at GT350 intake mani, tb, and cold air intake for a steal over the winter and it is getting to be about the time to install it. I would like to use the GT500 airbox and I want to know if anyone has done this? To my knowledge the...
BTA Motorsports in Australia makes an OTR intake that fits with the stock hood for 15-17. Not sure if they sell it separately because it is listed with a tune as a package on their website. Also doesn't look like they have one for 18+ yet.
They will fit. I have a sent installed on my 2019 GT. Drivers side needs to be cut and flange welded on. MAK used to have detailed instructions on their site but not sure if the still do with all the epa stuff. I believe i have them downloaded somewhere if you can not find them.
They are usually on the ends of pressure and temp sensors to protect the threads or sensor. has probably been there since it was assembled and finally just vibrated or moved into view.
