  1. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

No... as soon as you connect your Sync 3 to WiFi or use the FordPass app it will update in OASIS that you have 2.2 and will base future updates from there.
  2. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

You could use this time to do burn outs in your drive way with Line Lock :) Then you can show your neighbors the cool update when they come to yell at you.

  4. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

There is a bug where the installer runs out of free space since non-nav units have less internal storage (8GB vs 32GB)... waiting on a fix. Soon! As usual Ford does so much testing lol.
  5. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

What size USB hub do you have now? Will either of these fit? Look at the pictures on the link. Could check fordparts.com for the one the 2017 Mustang comes with... not sure the part number. I am only aware of these, they may not fit a Mustang. I don't own one. Dual Port USB Interface...

  7. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

I would start by comparing code in module 736 (PAM) with a Mustang that has them but make sure the one you are comparing doesn't also have front sensors or active park assist because the code would be entirely different. There is also code in the IPC to enable/disable them. Maybe here is a...

If your car has the supported DSM module it can be... 744-02-01: xxxx 8xxx - Enabled 0xxx - Disabled Not sure if this setting will work/show up if you have the lower end seat option.

Any luck with these code changes?
  10. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

On your ACM...727-01-01. What's your middle box? Is it 3A08? If so try 3808 and see if that disables it. Well that would disable the fake engine noise. Could also try 3008 and see what that does, or 3000. I think the 8 at the end may have something to do with reverse camera.

I agree. I think most stuff being free is good if other people actively look and share also. It's one thing for a person to just enable a bunch of known mods and never contribute back lol. Donations are nice too. Every now and then people send one here and there.

The dash cluster has a built in speaker. Same speaker that makes your blinker ticks when you enable turn signals. All chimes would come out of this speaker verses the car stereo speakers. It's good for those that go aftermarket on subs and amps. Thus if amps are off you can still hear car chimes.

Yes, but that is one mod that isn't given out for free. One of the few mods that I don't publicly share... It is provided as a service by Jesse. [email protected]. http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=3704&pid=63986#pid63986

enable nav is sync 2/mft only... nav in motion is sync 2/mft only... chimes location works on my fusion, I discovered it. It most definitely will work on a mustang as I found it in a GT350R with radio delete when comparing code lol.

I filled in some of the ones that I knew that you were trying to compare... hope it helps save some time so you can focus on the others.

Here is a link to my spreadsheet, most of the Fusion BdyCM stuff should work on the Mustang and some IPC stuff such as the chime location I figured out that you posted. http://bit.ly/DanMc85FORScanMods

I was just poking around this thread... I am curious on your ABS lights. Did you happen to touch memory block 760-01-01 through 760-01-04? If so, that is why you got an ABS light. Also, probably threw a VIN mismatch code. That block contains the VIN in hex form to make sure the ABS doesn't...

Focus, Escape, and a few other vehicles mainly in Europe don't use As-Built Data for the BCM. They use what is called CCC aka Central Configuration. Instead of having programming in each module. The car is centrally programmed and all the modules read from that. Ford IDS has all the CCC...

There are a lot of differences in the codes for sync 2 verses sync 3. There are different boot logos but they have to be installed. They come in the update package from syncmyride when you do a sync update and it installs what is necessary. Not all the same animations are there however.
