No, my car didn’t have active exhaust. I bought it used and the previous owner had put a Horrible droning Thrush muffler system on it. The Borla was a fantastic upgrade. I had Borla exhausts on other cars and was familiar with their quality.

I recently installed an S type cat back system and love it. Civilized when cruising and authoritative when you hit the gas. Cold starts are pretty loud but calms down pretty quick.

No resonator, it came with an x-pipe. I think the touring comes with a resonator with an internal x-pipe.
