I agree with you on this! Your money is your money. Everyone will spend their money on what they find worth spending their money on. 95% of the people I know would've viewed buying a Ford Mustang to not be a good financial decision. Not racing your car to recoup the money invested in performance...
I've had mine repainted. I kept mine black, but went with another shade of black. (I know that sounds stupid, since black doesn't seem to have shades!)
As stated changing the color should be approached with caution. That adds enough to the cost, that it will make you reconsider. I bought my own...
I wanted to just do a diff swap. All I could find were units on EBAY. I nerd out on certain things and my car is one of them. When doing research looking for a good unit, I uncovered a lot of scamming activity. Rather than throwing money away I decided to spend more and just give myself peace...
I may be misunderstanding your question. I'm using factory 10r80 with Stage 2 Suncoast internals. CircleD Converter, QA1 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft, and I had my factory torsen rebuilt into a 3.73 ring and pinion.
It does Rev Quicker! Too bad they don't make them anymore. I noticed an immediate difference in throttle response, acceleration and power transfer. Many would disagree. That was my assessment.
I was so excited about that exhaust. I was trying to justify the cost to myself and everything. It was hard convincing myself to even consider it being the cost of an ESS! I also have spent money on my exhaust already. But for that sound it was supposed to have, I would've eventually bought it!
Nice! I have KPM1000 and ID 1050X Injectors, but I'm not boosted. I had plans on staying N/A. Now that I'm running out of mods I may just go with ESS. My limits with boost will be whatever the KPM1000 allows on E85.
I'm not boosted. I'm just offering alternatives. I'm definitely not trying to start a debate. I believe Rob and Wengerd will tune this set-up. I don't think Lund will. I will say it's definitely less work. @KPM Fuel Systems can answer questions. @DougS550 has a Whipple KPM. Maybe he can chime in.
Drive it in sport or sport+. It'll hold the gears longer and cause the temps to rise up. I don't consider this beating the daylights out of it considering the cars are meant to be driven spirited.
This is cool info! I've seen so many complaints about this. There's the disagreement over the return style being prehistoric. Then the guys who have invested in a return style definitely dont like to hear their choice isn't practical at that cost. This is good info. I went with the KPM1000 after...
Wengerd is a great person to deal with. I cant count the number of revisions I've had for me and my OCD. Wengerd helps me no matter the problem. My car drives the way it should've from the factory thanks to that man. The last revised tune he sent me came as a complete surprise. I'd done...
