Yep, as far as I know all convertibles came with the cowl brace standard, as was the additional bracing at the back the coupes don’t have. Have thought about a tower brace as well but haven’t gotten around to it yet, 6+ years in.

Plug or module under seat likely. I think part of the fix is to add an additional ground while you’re there.

You may want to check the rear carpet for dampness. My understanding is that the coupes had water intrusion issues in the rear windows. Perhaps you have enough coming in to feed the condensation but not enough to be obvious.

Given the life expectancy of a belt, it seems folly to use anything other than OEM. You know it will fit and any cost difference is meaningless.
