  7. Anybody else's clutch getting softer during break in?

    So I've had my GT for a little over a month. I babied the thing (ie. didn't beat too hard on it) for the first 1,000 miles but ever since I have been getting on it a little.     Nope, not without having enough cash in hand to take care of repairing our replacing my car if they should wreck it or blow it up. My wife hasn't even been let drive my car yet.

  9. Moderate traffic commutes better fuel economy than open roads

    You'll always get better fuel mileage at 55mph in 6th gear than 75mph. Less revs usually means less fuel being used.

  12. For the MT owners: how do you downshift?

    I double clutch when downshifting to grab a gear to go. I rev match only when downshifting to come to a stop.

    I'd rather have my base GT than a fully loaded Eco or the V6. Just trade the Focus and get the GT, you will be glad you did.

  14. X Pipe with stock mufflers: How does it sound?

    Looking to get my muffler shop to cut the resonator and replace with an x pipe this week just as a workaround until I order my full exhaust. Has anybody else done this and if so, how does it sound? If you have sound clips please share.

    I got 24.5 going and 25 coming in a recent trip for work (~330 miles each way). This is in a GT with 3.55 gears.

  17. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

    I took mine for a spirited drive around the back roads of Possum Kingdom Lake. This car is light years better in the turns than the previous gen and it's not even close. Most fun I've had in a car in years with my pants on.
