The 2018 F150 is rumored to be getting a new diesel powertrain as an option as well as the new 10 speed auto in the raptor. If the F150 is getting big upgrades like that, i don't doubt there are as big upgrades coming to the Mustang for 2018 as well.

Just wanted to update this. As of last week, the car is on the frame machine and they're just waiting on the specs from Ford for the frame measurements. All the parts are there and all OEM. Total estimate was $14,071.00 $9k of that was parts and the rest was labor. Bloody insane. Anyway...
