  1. Spacers, lugnuts, torque spec

    LOL:doh:
  2. Foundry on PP Car - Disadvantages?

On the other hand, Mustang owners will spend $60 for a drop-in K&N air filter that will net them minimal - if any, HP gains and zero time differences in a race situation. I think we're all looking for any advantage.
  3. Foundry on PP Car - Disadvantages?

So the PP and also the cars with 20" from the factory have unique tuning compared to a "regular" Mustang GT?
  4. Foundry on PP Car - Disadvantages?

I assume it was understood that what I suggested was tuning within the same platform (in this case the S550 with different variants only in that platform). My response was because "EFI" suggested the car was not tuned to the 19" wheel/tire package, which I do not necessarily agree with. As...
  5. Foundry on PP Car - Disadvantages?

Respectfully disagree. Whenever there is a tire/wheel change from the OEM there is a lot of dynamics testing and tuning that happens prior to Job-1. To reduce complexity and cost, Engineers will often times find an optimal solution of spring rates and shock tuning if the same vehicle uses...
  6. Foundry on PP Car - Disadvantages?

    Great information, thanks all !
  7. Foundry on PP Car - Disadvantages?

That much I have been able to find. They do fit the factory Brembo's.
  8. Foundry on PP Car - Disadvantages?

I have loved the 20" Foundry wheels since I first saw them. My 2017 PP car came with 19" wheels that are a massive pain in the ass to wash, and I'm not in love with the way they look. I was considering buying a used set of Foundry wheels for my PP car. Obviously the PP car suspension is tuned...
  9. Guess what? Motortrend favors the Camaro again

Closed road course with professional drivers, under ideal conditions (usually). Not how most of us use our cars. In the real world, there are countless YouTube videos, and personal experiences we have all had putting some hurt-on Camaro’s that according to magazines cannot happen. They are both...
  10. GT Performance Package Actual

Some very quick searching this morning; the Camaro 1LE by some publications was rated between 0.97 g and 1.0 g of lateral grip. The 2017 Mustang GT PP was near this with a reported 0.98 g of lateral grip. Of course, this is independent publications so conditions are certainly never the exact...
  11. Butt Dyno - Faster After Some Miles?

Explain why it would get slower?
  12. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Ford Performance oil catch can. Easy to install, looks factory, is held-down (not floating) and is not difficult to empty.
  13. Butt Dyno - Faster After Some Miles?

Is this a thing on the 5.0? I've owned a few cars that after 'some' miles feel faster than day one. It seems like a thing; the entire powertrain gets a few thousand miles, gets I dunno, "looser" maybe and frees up some sleeping torque that your rump-dyno feels. Any truth to this on our cars?
  14. "Bill Kessel" H-Pipe?

A bit of follow up in case anyone is interested; I traded communication with "Bill" this morning. He is apparently interested in selling these to people still, though the prices seemed to have changed. Here is what he told me: $275 - single H-pipe $250ea. - 3 or more ordered $225ea. - 5 or...
  15. "Bill Kessel" H-Pipe?

"H-Pipe better at low RPM" which is certainly something the rev-happy Coyote motor needs. These are so close, guess it comes down to sound preference.
  16. 1-2 Shift Slight Grind (manual)

Yep, we're saying the same thing.
  17. "Bill Kessel" H-Pipe?

 Not sure why. I saw him on one of the Mustang sites on Facebook. Weird. Look in the "2015+ S550 Mustang Group"
  18. "Bill Kessel" H-Pipe?

Ran into this guy on Facebook. Looks like he makes custom H-pipes for our cars. Has anyone tried this part out yet? Craftsmanship appears very good.
