    This has been widely discussed. I would do a search, the 9 speaker system may have a different wire harness than the 12 speaker and you may or may not have the wiring in place for a stock sub.

    Our cars have electrical power steering. When your MBC was installed the mechanic obviously got into the wiring for the steering. Take it back and make him fix it.
