  1. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

How would that break anything? It would just go into first instead of reverse if not pushed down
  2. MT-82 Class Action Lawsuit

  3. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

I don't see how this is not on topic. A large majority of this thread has been people wondering if the Mach 1 is going to have a MT82 or a Tremec
  4. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

Forgive me for trying to educate potential buyers on a known fault with the car. Don't want to see someone waste their hard earned money on a track focused mustang that will clearly not be able to hold up to track abuse. Why are you so intent on defending it? It's called my opinion, to each...
  5. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

For all the MT82 sympathizers, tremec or bust if you are claiming it to be the most track ready 5.0 https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2020/ford-mustang-transmission-problems-lawsuit.shtml
  6. MT-82 Class Action Lawsuit

I need to join as well, had to pay out of pocket for mine when the input shaft bearing went at 40k. Next they need to file a class action lawsuit for the dogshit made in Turkey clutches for the 15-17 MT82's
  7. Engine Tick Preventive Measures

My 15 GT pretty much ticked the day I bought it and it was LOUD too. Got even worse when I did a 18 manifold swap for some reason. I beat the complete shit outta that thing, I'm talking road course with daily driving and redline pulls everyday. The engine never gave me any problems so I wouldn't...
  8. Mach or modify...

Get a gt350, the better car and will holds it value better. TBH, unless you got the PP2 for an extremely good deal that's what you should have done in the first place.
  9. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

It's funny to me that Ford has to compromise but Chevy and Dodge don't have too. They both run Tremec transmissions on the base SS and the R/T and 392 cars so why can't the mustang? I'm guessing the people that are on here saying it's a fine transmission have zero track experience or never...
  10. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

Imagine all the idiots who are gonna spend high 50's for this and not get a tremec
  11. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

Keep telling yourself that, if I'm paying for a top of the line track ready mustang, I don't want a POS MT82. There's a reason Ford used a tremec in their more track focused cars. Lol at everyone doesn't need a Shelby. If you don't need a Shelby then you don't need a Mach 1 considering they're...
  12. BREAKING: 2021 Mustang Mach 1 Confirmed as the Most Track Capable 5.0L V8 Mustang Ever!

I'm sure Ford will cut a corner and put a MT82 in it and ruin it. Might as well buy a used gt350
  13. Input shaft bearing failure??

I hear ya, my stock clutch went at 24k and then the trans at 40k. I'm not keeping the car to see what fails next lol. Next car will have a tremec though, that's all I know haha
  14. Input shaft bearing failure??

Just in case anyone finds this when searching, that noise was indeed a bad bearing inside the trans. Getting a partial rebuild right now, then I'll throw the trans back in and then it will be headed to the closest dealership for a trade in. The MT82 and clutches these cars get from Ford are a joke
  15. Any mod friendly dealer in Dallas?

I know this an old thread but any suggestions here?
  16. Input shaft bearing failure??

Eliminated all the little things, gonna have to drop the trans now.
  17. Clutch is "chugging" when coming to a stop

Curious to hear what they say about your RST as my trans just started giving me problems too (I have a RST with similar mileage). Trying to chase down the culprit right now. Bled the clutch and brakes today to eliminate air in the system causing issues and no luck. To answer your question on...
