The Roush and Ford Performance are the exact same product. Keep in mind, the phase1 is 700hp, the phase2 is 750hp and is in the calibration. I went with the phase2 750hp and couldn't be happier with the power.
Hey guys, new to the forum and just wondering. On my 4th stang, now a 2021 Gt coupe with A10. I have noticed on moderate to strong acceleration in first that I hear this kind of thumping (maybe like 4-5 times in a row) coming from the passenger side. I know its not normal and am bringing it back...
Understood, I have owned quite a few cars over the years (4th stang) and not new to the game so to speak. This is my first automatic where it engages the tcc during harder acceleration. Oh well, I will deal with the issue, just doesnt feel like it should. (Personal preference of course)
Yup, thats what it feels like. The trans should know that under stronger acceleration it shouldnt lock up....just shift like normal and maybe when you get off the gas let it lock up for fuel savings. Even does it in sport mode which makes no sense to me.
Thats true, paddles in sport mode work for me. I am just talking about how hard it hits from gear to gear if I am not wot in sport mode and how lethargic it is in drive mode. I will look into the power pack, havent heard of that yet, thank you.
Coming from a 6spd 500hp GT to a A10 750hp has me scratching my head. Don't get me wrong, the 750 absolutely kills my old stang but I really enjoyed the predictability of the 6spd (I was in control). Is there a shop that can tune the A10 without voiding the warranty?
How about when getting into 3rd......my revs begin to go up, then it feels like the tcc kicks in, brings me down 2-300 rpm, then comes back up......it should be a linear transition gear by gear, mine is all over the map unless I'm 100% wot.
I agree 100%.....mine barely uses 1st, jumps into second immediately, then continues to shift....mind of its own. Mushy, inaccurate bs. I only have Drive mode and Sport mode. Put it in Sport and the thing shifts like I have a massive shift kit, bangs, slams, jerks.....totally unnecessary...
Interesting.....I have a 2021 GT Stage 2 Roush A10....from a dead stop it definitely has multiple thumpd/clunks in the rear.....1500 miles, headed to dealer soon, will update!!!
Hey guys, been down this road a few times. Have a 2021 GT w Roush stage 2. Best overall for me in Florida are the Continental extreme contact Sports. They rarely break free on 750hp, also excellent in the rain storms down here......you will be impressed!! Have the A10
SVE Series 3
