  6. Clutch sticks disengaged at high temps

I bought mine direct from CenterForce.com, you can also get it at Summit Racing. The CenterForce part number is 601825. https://www.centerforce.com/product/centerforce-accessories-601825-0006?gfid=p276463-c552005 Looks like prices really jumped on the CenterForce.com site. Summit has a much...
  7. Clutch sticks disengaged at high temps

UPDATE: Confirmed at Road Atlanta Trackday over the weekend that replacing the throwout bearing fixed the issue and any inconsistent engagement I had. I replaced the stock throwout bearing with a Center Force TB with the metal sleeve. The stock one must have been slightly damaged when the...
  8. Clutch sticks disengaged at high temps

I don't think the stock clutch is necessary for a stock engine. (I didn't tell the clutch the engine is stockish. :)) The one I have is a moderate clutch for street and track days. The stock clutch from what I have seen in my Mustang crowd has a tendency to loose the pressure plate friction...
  9. Clutch sticks disengaged at high temps

Yea, I'm thinking I'll just have to do a hope repair. Replace the throwout bearing and hope it fixes it. CenterForce said if it were the weights hanging up, which he also said that it is designed to not be able to do that, that I would see wear marks once I get it apart. They also make a...
  10. Sway bar setting vs strut setting

Thank you all for the input. I put the front sway bar back to mid and the rear to soft. Set the front struts to 1.5 (vs 1.75) and rear shocks to 1.25 turns. I did a track day at Hallet Raceway in Oklahoma which has a lot of off chamber corners and it did very well. I ran one 1:28 min lap, most...
  11. Clutch sticks disengaged at high temps

I have the sticking clutch pedal to the floor, but a different twist from everything I've been able to find on the site. Mine only occurs on track days and after 3 laps when everything get good and hot. I've never noticed any of the symptoms I've read about where there is air in the system or a...
  12. Sway bar setting vs strut setting

Steve and Nightmare Moon, that's the vain I was thinking, but wasn't sure. I don't have the experience with suspension tuning/tweaking. Good to know I'm on the right track and insight on what to expect and feel for on the track after the changes. I've done a lot more suspension tuning on dirt...
  13. Sway bar setting vs strut setting

Mid to exit, after braking and back on the throttle, feel it most carousels. I thought is was just me imagining it at first, because it doesn't slide or twitch, just feels light. Then I was at a short track with 2 long carousel corners where, as usual had this light feeling. The track was...
  14. Sway bar setting vs strut setting

My 2015 has had a "light tail" feeling on the track, but always sticks, I haven't had an oversteer occur accept once the tires get hot and slippery (with different tires than the RE71R). Last time i was on the track I changed the strut setting from 1.25 turns from soft to 1.75 turns on the...
  15. Where are your next events?

  16. S550 Lap Times (Road Course)

I was thinking about going. Then decided to go to the MCA Mustang Round up at Hallet Raceway for an adventure. Also going to the MCA track day event at Road Atlanta in April '21 assuming it is on. The plan to go back to RA with Northwoods Shelby club in June. I want to get to Black Hawk too...
  17. S550 Lap Times (Road Course)

This is my 2nd best lap at Road America. I see a few areas where a few seconds could be shaved off. I'm happy with the time and having fun! Make/Model/engine/trans/packages: 2015 Mustang GT PP Track/Course: Road America Best Lap Time: 2:53.4 Brake Pads: G-Loc G10 Tires (Size & Model): 275/30/19...
  18. How do you bleed the hydraulic clutch system ?

@Whitewalkers550 how did you take it all apart? Were you able to drop the transmission from below or did you have to pull the engine and transmission? How nasty of a job was it, how long did it take? I below out something last night at Track Night. I missed 2nd to 3rd, got in to 1st, realized...
  19. Where are your next events?

I was signed up to go and was hoping the same. Now hoping they reschedule!
  20. Need some advice to wheel and tire set up

Thanks Norm. I can create some formulas knowing the speed at 6500. At 7,000 with the smaller tires I should still be able to get just over 140 mph in 5th.
