That's a good question. IMHO 400/400 is safe IF you have a good, consistent tune and good fuel. A good tune will have the ability to repeatedly hit the torque targets in order to stay inside the safety margin. If you look at the torque curve on our EFR7163 dyno charts you can see...
Haha, no. The head must be removed to install pistons. That's why I was talking about re-timing the cam and crank sprockets. Since there's no keyway on the stock crank and no pins on the cam gears, the timing needs to be re-set when they're removed.
Good points all around. Also keep in mind that the state of tuning for our turbo kit is still relatively new. I'm interested to see what other tuners can do with this hardware once it becomes more common.

I've heard of axles snapping at high torque, not the driveshaft. Upgraded axles are recommended if you have sticky tires and you like to launch it. We can provide upgraded axles, just contact the shop.

Not really, the dual mass mechanism is built into the flywheel so there really isn't any extra material to remove. It's like two flywheels linked to each other with a few springs and friction damper material in between.
This is the first time I've heard of a leak in that area. Have you looked closely to find the source? If the leak is coming from the timing cover it's going to be a lot of work to re-seal it. The timing cover needs to be removed before you can remove the oil pan, and the crank pulley needs to...
