I want 400-420. I just got the green light from Ryan to go FULL Meth. I will be sending logs next week if weather permits.
Ryan, is staying firm with stright methanol.
What mods do you have? 400-420... is good. I believe Adam has made 480 or so. 400 is general.
Methonal will cool, and fuel, and make the engine more consistent. I myself am concerned about safety. What if a component fails?? General rule, is to replace or rebuild the pump if running stright...
My thoughts with everything in the trunk is that everything is inspectable and serviceable. Also, the pump is away from the heat and elements. Keep in mind, that my bracket is temporary. I am going to re work it and add the proper connections. I do like like the under hood installs though...
After speaking with Ryan again. 100% Methanol it is.
Here is some good reading for you all.

And another...
The pushlock works fine if you cut the tubing square. Use a sharp razor blade. Obviously, braided is better, but more expensive and a bigger hassle trying to run throughout the car.
Methonal is hard on aluminum, and those fittings are anodized aluminum so I am not sure how long they will...
True. There is no fail safe built into the 2.5 kit. The gauge will alert if the tank gets low, there is a clog or a leak. I am not sure how the system knows about the later two.
I looked into the AEM fail safe (flow gauge) and saw nothing but bad reviews.
So... both Adam, and Ryan have now...
No need for the more expensive kits. The 2.5 will suit you just fine. Use -25 washer fluid and call it a day. I would probably go with a #2 nozzle
You will need a dedicated charge pipe or TB spacer with provisions for a nozzle. If you do decide to use a TB (throttle body) spacer, then you will...
No need for a low level failsafe IMO. The sensor should be installed above the feed. The Snow gauge flashes when fluid gets low. For me that leaves me with a few Pints. The gauge will flash with stars if there is a leak or clog.
My engine is actually idling better and feels smoother. Tail...
Very nice looking install. I wanted everything accessible and easily serviceable.
I will probably move everything up front eventually, but for now the system is working.
As for water to meth ratio??? I don't know...
I feel like the 100% methonal is being used as additional fuel. Seems to...
Part of me wants to just use water as saftey.
To protect against detonation from bad gas.
From Snow
In a properly set-up system, the effective octane ( resistance to detonation) of various mixtures on top of 91 octane pump gas are:
50/50 water-methanol( Boost Juice® ) will beat 116 octane...
I have just recently installed the Snow perfomance stage 2.5 kit.
Optional parts I choose for install was a relay kit and solenoid and Cp-e charge pipe with meth bungs.
I used an ATP map adapter.
The install was a breeze and I refused to splice into any factory wiring. Everything is standalone...
Tune revision 6th and WOT is feeling nasty.
Part throttle sucks once the car warms up and I think I have found my problem just waiting for my tuner to review my data logs.
When driving causally there is a major dead spot in 3rd gear. The car shifts into 3rd, slowly reaches 2200 rpm and with a...
I should have got a GT, but I'll stick with what I have. I am so done with payments! Hopefully someday I can build a stroker!
I must say though....that the Nx2 is becoming so much more fun to drive vs the stock Turbo with E30
It is so amazing that we push so hard for anything over 350 whp, and GT's are getting 450 whp stock? E85,longtubes and a tune make 500whp.
Our cars are strong with full bolt on's indeed, but only compared to cars of yester-years.
