  1. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

At peak. Stretch em out even unported, boss makes more average and produces better track times I gave you multiple reasons there Ray Charles. I didn’t say Eddie’s tuning wasn’t optimized for the 350 I said it wasn’t optimized for any of them. Part of adequate testing is optimizing everything...
  2. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

Port em both and run em. Boss is faster every time.
  3. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

Give me T! T! Give me a U! U! Give me an N! N! ….see where I’m going with this? You can clearly see that Eddie didn’t actually optimize VCT. They optimized to where they make a peak number and no further. However, all 3 (Boss, CJ, 350) will flatline after peak until about 7800-8000 if the tuner...
  4. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

That’s because I follow the data and the reality of world watching guys faster than me. What do you want me to point out? Aside from the marketing to sell 18 manifolds? You can disagree about the tuning that’s fine, every popular tuner does better but whatever fugg real world data. And nobody...
  5. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

1.You’re quoting 11-14 truck cams, 15+ are the same minus firing order. The covers are the same after 13/14 ish (I forget specifically) as if any of the rest has fugg-all to do with the discussion. You’ve also incorrectly quoted the oil pump gears part. 2. The test was done poorly. The tuning...
  6. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

    1. wasn't comparing the 2 but also, wrong. 15+ there's a firing order difference for NVH but overall specs are the same on the cams and 15-17 has a 1/2 point less compression. The same things apply to both. You can directly compare them, a truck is a heavy mustang these days. 2. It is the...
  7. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

GT350 offers power through about the entire rev range over the 18gt AND above the 7400 limit the 18 makes power to. The gt350 will make power to 7800-8000. 18 is the slowest manifold option. It just doesn't hang. No ford doesn't offer a PP3 pack with the GT350 because they made significantly...
  8. Soler 85mm throttle body

I run a C&L 90mm with the same tune I ran with my stock 80mm. Works fine for me. I also have a BrettBarber ported GT350 that i used to run on my GT350 manifold setup that was tuned by Oz without issue.
  9. Question for Ceratec Users

LM says treat rate is 1 300ml can for 5L of oil. 10qts is about 8.5-9L, dump it in and go. There's also some benefit to being slightly over as it is. I run Schaeffers MolyEP myself with 5w30 and full fill. Also there's no reason to run say a 5w20 in the winter and 5w30 in the summer. Unless...
  10. Best 21 GT intake manifold upgrades

Subjective. Depends what you're trying to accomplish. You want the 1/4 king? CobraJet or the new Holley. Gt350 is a solid upgrade over the 18 but it's also no CJ. I would do gt350 > Boss because they perform the same mostly and gt350 fits better
  11. Question for Ceratec Users

LM says the treat rate is 1 can for 5L of oil. 1 can is a light treatment at a normal oil fill and there's benefits to being a half quart over anyways so I see no reason to reduce how much oil you run. I use Schaeffers MolyEP myself which is 1 pint or 470ml. I dump in at the beginning and then...
  12. Evans Performance Academy?? Has Anyone Tried It?

I would look more into HighPerformanceAcademy if I were looking to do my own tuning.
  13. Catch Cans

lol cool we’re on the same page now. I haven’t used the separator personally to tell you that it solves the problem on track 100% but there’s no doubt it would certainly help minimize it
  14. Catch Cans

My bad, "one solution to reducing this problem" sound better?
  15. Catch Cans

    1. You agree with me actually because I said the same thing 2. You’re thinking of their check valve breather. The clean side separator doesn’t have a check valve, just a catch can like baffle/screen system. Crank pressure flows out and the oil catches on the screens. Also that 1 way valve you’re...
  16. Catch Cans

That's because on the track the car's operation is in a range that PCV valve isn't enough to keep up with the building crank pressure. UPR has their clean-side seperator which is one way to handle this. Can also vent to a can with an open air breather. Won't collect a ton and will be in those...
  17. Is this possible with LTH?

In between the green circles there’s a very minor tradeoff that is likely just a slight difference in reflective wave. Overall your average is up for the entire range which is what you want.
  18. Is this possible with LTH?

Your peak may be basically the same but you gained midrange and you can see where you gained airflow above peak. HP = TQ x RPM / 5252
  19. Soler Engineering throttle controller.

This is stolen from TrickyPerformance. 10 numbers without any tuning adjustments and nearly identical curve until 5800. Gen3 car. I’ve ran them both personally and can tell you 350 is faster. There’s a reason Ford offers it as an upgrade and the Mach1/Bullit was an up-trim. Stock TB needs either...
  20. Soler Engineering throttle controller.

I would argue that the 15hp or so over the 18 manifold that the gt350 provides is worth it. More than you'll get out of any TB swap
