I highly doubt that. Chevy did the same thing to their customers. Now the new Camaro has 11 coolers... We can hope for the same thing.

Every car loses value. The initial limited run of these cars would have set the price high, kept them there and then raised them if they stopped production last year. Now they announce 2018, resale prices drop. Be glad you don't drive a BMW.

If they pull the transmission for a problem, they most certainly will find out it's not from the original car. So there goes that theory.

You're wrong and partially right. They absolutely heat up while sitting in traffic, if not more than driving at average speeds.
