  1. Call to all bagged S550's!

Remember me saying "If I had to do it all over again..." Well my wheels came in with some damage. Some by UPS and some manufacturer defects. So now it has me wondering..... Would I be better off I they will allow me to swap sizes, to do 8.5" ET 25 up front with say a 255/35 or 255/40 tire...
  2. A/S tire: Which would you choose?

Thats got me a little worried now. It only has a sidewall width of 10.75" which is less than most of the other 275's I've seen that are running around 10.8 - 10.9. :(
  3. A/S tire: Which would you choose?

Yeah, I looked at the Motivo's, but they are insanely wide for their stated size. 11.38" wide which is almost a 1/2" bigger than almost all other brands in that size. With bagging, I'm afraid of inner fender rub on the front.
  4. A/S tire: Which would you choose?

No giving much attention to this rating. If anything, I may favor a lower rating, lol. I will not be driving in snow ever. I just want an all season to drive on cold days when its nice out. I figure the higher that rating, the harder the compound. I would like as close to as a summer performance...
  5. A/S tire: Which would you choose?

Hey Paul, you mentioned to me that your friend had some 275 that clipped the inner Fender but you said they were really fat tires. What model tires were they?
  6. A/S tire: Which would you choose?

Looking at all season's around $200 or under. These are what I'm finding that have at least mixed up to great reviews: 1. Toyo Proxes 4 Plus 2. Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S 3. Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 4. Falken ZIEX ZE950 I would love to go with some Michelins or Conti DWS's but not looking to...
  7. Call to all bagged S550's!

Ok Paul, So after pulling my hair out deciding on a tire size, I am 75% set on 275/35/20, which was your original recommendation I believe (should have saved myself the hassle, lol) Here's my question(s): The 275/35/20 will be 7mm taller than my stock 265/35/20 (20" foundry), what is more of a...
  8. Call to all bagged S550's!

Can you air out in the rear with a 315? I was under the impression that 305 is the max you could go bagged...
  9. Call to all bagged S550's!

That is sick dude. I am going with AXE wheels as well. I have EX30's on the way. 20x10 ET42 all around. What offset are your wheels?
  10. MASSIVE 12 Days of Christmas Sale @ Lethal Performance: DSS, ARH, WHIPPLE and MORE!

Will BMR be back on sale on the 23rd? I put the cradle lockout kit in my cart Friday night and then proceeded to drift off in my recliner while I was browsing the site, lol. Woke up at 12:30am and refreshed the cart and the sale price was gone. :(
  11. Track Packer Carbon Fiber Spoiler?

Has anyone seen anything like this? I did find this "simulated carbon fiber" spoiler on ebay. Im guessing its fiberglass with a top layer of the sawtooth carbon fiber pattern...
  12. Another gear swap thread...lol

Lol, thanks for the reminder. Need to update that. If i new a tune wouldn't void my warranty, that is exactly what I'd be doing. I figured a gear change wouldn't be an issue with warranty. Now if the Ford dealer cant calibrate it, now if 2015 Silver GT is correct, and the dealer can't change...
  13. Another gear swap thread...lol

I've done the resonator delete with h-pipe and am quite happy with the sound. Not to loud, no drone in the cabin. And for something that costs over a grand (at least for what I would want) I would want a boost in hp/tq which a catback does not do.
  14. Another gear swap thread...lol

Im curious as well, why would a 3.31 be desirable, unless you were going FI or something? I would think at least a 3.55...
  15. Another gear swap thread...lol

Well, other than a direct problem with my differential, as long as I have Ford do the calibration, I would assume nothing.
  16. Another gear swap thread...lol

I wasn't expecting it to compare to the low end of my vette, but I figured the higher ratio would definitely help. I am going to try and get use to revving it higher and get use to it, but I still miss that low end oomph... Would love to have a whipple but not on a car with 2k miles on it and 8...
  17. Official Square Setup Picture / Specs / Handling Characteristics Thread

I was trying to stay under $200 a tire, which I know limits me greatly. I found some Sumitomos HTR Z III and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 that were decently priced. I was going to stay will a summer tire, but the Michelin reviews seem to indicate it has the best wet and dry traction in...
  18. Another gear swap thread...lol

Thanks for the input. So are you saying that there is no LSD of any type on the non PP GT? Or is it still a basic LSD but not a Torsen diff? If it has no LSD, how expensive is that to add?
  19. Another gear swap thread...lol

Hi folks, Considering swapping gears in my non PP GT manual from the stock 3.31's to 3.73's. I came from a corvette that had a lot of low end torque and I miss that feeling that a pushrod engine provides. I did a lot of searching of the forums and found several threads, but a few of them were...
  20. Official Square Setup Picture / Specs / Handling Characteristics Thread

So would using a 275 with a 5mm spacer be the same as using a 285 as it relates to possibly catching the lip? Also, been looking at tires, I have found better pricing on 285/30's if I go that route. Thoughts on that profile? Being that I'll be on air, if I have to go with either a little taller...
