No problem at all! Usually if one is disassembled for prototype parts, the other one is driveable ;)
We're open Monday through Friday 9AM - 6PM, but people are always here early, late, and on the weekends so can take you for a ride. Just shoot us a PM or email when you might be able to come...
Mr. Poopschitz: I'm sure you won't like this copy and paste email response, but this is the answer Subaru always hands out:
"Thank you for your patience as I checked with our Technical Services Department regarding your message below. They advised that the crank pulley is a pulley and nothing...
The elastomer in the factory pulley is for NVH related to the drive accessories (AC, alternator, power steering). Again, specific to the Subaru EJ2X flat 4 motors. We understand others vary. :headbang:

They are currently different part numbers, so it wouldn't work. But give us a call and we can help you out when you get your new EB stang! 866-922-3059

We'll find out very soon! We have both a MT and AT EB Mustang and we'll have some MT dyno results, hopefully, today.
After so you can take advantage of the more efficiently cooled air. You could upgrade the FMIC on the stock car, but you'd have very minimal gains without tuning.
Ian
Yes! When you install the AP, it ties itself to a specific vehicle. However, you can just use the Uninstall option from the main menu and then use the exact same AP on a different (but supported) vehicle. There is no limit to the number of times you can install or uninstall.
TiE is exactly...
We only offer lightweight crank pulleys for the Subaru flat 4 boxer motors. Per Subaru and our own testing, the crank pulley on that particular series of motors does not act as a harmonic balancer.
We've been tuning factory ECUs since 2003 and we have been tuning direct injected turbo cars...
From Facebook:
Lund didn't start the thread or have a chance to clarify their dyno results here, so I just wanted to make sure other people were clear on the gains. Did I make a jerk-face comment? Probably so. Must be why they usually don't let me post before I've had my coffee!
Ian
Yep! We plan to offer everything for the EB Mustang just like we offer for the Focus ST or Fiesta ST:
Intake
FMIC
Catback Exhaust
Downpipe
We do a lot of R&D to make sure we have the proper upgrade path for the car so one part doesn't limit the others. Just like on the other EB cars we...
The V3 Accessport is designed to be mounted in the cabin and used for daily monitoring of ECU parameters like boost, timing correction, OAR, and more to make sure your car is running like it should. In our experience, buttons are easier to use than a touch screen in a situation like this as...
We have an entire network of Protuners and the AP can hold over 100 maps. So if you want a balls to the walls tune, you can easily have one made and use the custom map switching to get to it faster ;) With the AP, you aren't limited to a single tune or tuner.

Our economy map slot disables the ability for the car to create the extra boost that a slightly twitchy right foot may achieve. It retains all of the benefits from the other areas of our calibration like crisp transient response. We also optimize the fuel for WOT in economy so that even in...
Due to the controls being load and torque based it will be tough to make big gains without allowing for more boost. Technically you are not modifying boost control strategies with a load based target so it could skirt by certain rule books. If you are not allowed to take advantage of that rule...
There is a 15mi green period in which the ecu will limit certain functions for hardware break in. Typically found in the fuel system but is also tied into others.

We've already done tons of factory FMIC testing and we can guarantee it is a limiting factor due to heatsoak. We'll have more data and dyno plots soon!
In our experience, a dealer doesn't know if a car has been flashed or not. But with that said, we don't design anything to circumvent warranty...
Great thread guys!
In our experience, E10 fuels tend to be able to provide higher power numbers than pure gasoline. This is because the ethanol provides a higher resistance to detonation. The EcoBoost family of motors has a very active timing control system, so if the ECU is happy with the...
We do make some tweaks on the throttle mapping to clean up the over-aggressive settings on the "Sport/Sport+/Track" modes from the factory on the AT car. I'll see if it's as necessary on the MT car and apply those changes if needed. Also, with improvements to other areas such as ignition...
