I'll add, if you are unaware, get your sync software and map updates using the sync updating software from Cyanlabs. All Ford images, just easier way to flash when not tied to a VIN via Ford.

As I said in my earlier post... When you go from sync 2 (MFT) to 3 or did what you did by adding navigation you have to add a compatible GPS antenna. Glad it worked out for you... If you look at the link above from Amazon that one works fine also and I'm going on three plus years no issue.. GL

I'll add, I've done this for my Lincoln and many others who own Ford Products. Download once to USB and just update a Ford Vehicle that matches the criteria explained by Cyanlabs forum. Plug and upgrade, not much easier than that!!!

Free for me, cyanlabs all the way. Agree with all above. No need to waste money when you get all this for free and 30-40 minutes of your time to update. Currently on latest release of sync 3.4 and maps.

While you have the dash apart and time awaiting new screen you might as well get a digital dash conversion kit. Highly recommended as a second update and not much more to take apart to upgrade... Also, what's a little more Forscan programming... :like:
