Awesome thanks guys. I am fortunate to have it be one beer vs. an entire gallon of milk haha!
Would use a low pressure power wash and degreaser work? I work at a dealership and could easily just use the wash bays shit.
I sat it up next to my garage and watched about half a beers worth of...
As the title says I spilt some beer in my trunk, don't ask don't tell .
I am wondering how to get the smell out. It seems like most of it has stayed on the carpeted "spare" cover deal. I have removed that from the vehicle and am probably going to spray an entire can on fabric cleaner...
So in my EcoBoost Premium I have those nice fancy looking "Chrome/Aluminum" deals for door handles and steerin wheel spokes. What am I supposed to clean those with? I've just been using glass cleaner cause why not?
Well I was trying to think where i'm supposed to jack up the car and put the stand in at on the same side. unless lifting the whole side of the car from one pinch weld isn't damaging? I was always told not to do that.
That's how mine shakes. It looks like there is a bag of vibrators underneath my passenger seat it shakes so much and my rear view mirror will literally move by the time I get to work I have to re-adjust it.
Silly question but where did you put your stands once you jacked it up?
In other words...
Anyone want to buy a 2015 Premium Ecoboost? HAHAAH
I haven't even owned the car for a full month and I am already tired of it. Thanks for draining any and all excitement from owning my first new car FORD!
So I just got a call from Shelly? from FoMoCo about my escalated case. Im a little confused by the conversation ha! She told me she is a Customer Service Manager of some sorts (I cant remember) and that she has talked to my dealership and gathered up all my information and her only advice to me...
Easiest way for you to convince them is to put it on a lift yourself before hand and run it up to whenever you hear the noise is the loudest. if its loud enough to make you cringe then itll be easy to convince them to at least check it out. My noise level was increased an a$$load when I put my...
If it doesn't bother you, I wouldn't bother with trying to convince them to fix it honestly. Although if you go in with the SSM # listed previously you might get some free parts from it haha. The driveshaft seems to be the first thing they replace so if your like me and live in the rust belt you...
I'm only 21 so when I was at the dealership buying the car the finance guy had me sold on the Extended Warranty they offered which as soon as I talked to the old folks I learned how idiotic that was haha! You live and learn I guess.
My case has officially been escalated. FoMoCo emailed me this morning and we have been talking off and on most of the day. I'll keep everyone posted on the case status.
Of course immediately after receiving my first email from them the dealership decided to finally get back with me.
I just got done sending an email to Ford Service from their website. Hopefully I can get something going and I wasn't too pushy in my message. Hard to express myself with less then 2000 characters haha. Made it clear that I wanted my car done right or they need to buy it back and ill go to...
If I knew buying my first new car of my life would be this stressful I would've kept my 92 Hatch and dumped 10k into that instead of 28k into a problem prone car and a dealership who refuses to help.
I most definitely received a loaner. All I had to was tell them I didn't want to sit around all day and I lived out of town, which isn't a lie, but they ended up keeping my car for a week so that may also have something to do with it. Ask and you shall receive....I hope!
As far as the work...
Good or Bad news?!
Well, my car has been at the dealership for a full week as of this morning, I have finally been given the call saying my car is "Done" When I pressed for some details on what exactly was "Done" to my car while its been away. The man put me on hold for 6 minutes to again tell...
Not sure if there is already a thread for this but I am interested in seeing what career path everyone has taken to ensure the best for their :hail:S550:hail:
I guess to start off, I am only 21 but I am full-time in the Parts Department at a Nissan Dealership and work part-time in the Parts...
I took my EB Premium back to the dealership I purchased it from Wednesday @7:30AM and it is now on day 4 of downtime. I have not received any calls or confirmation from the Dealer as to status on the car and/or parts. I have called at minimum 3 times daily and get one of two people and the only...
