Just filled up with 91 (best we have here) to see how the car runs and noticed that the al percent is at 65 with an idle afr of 11. I ran the tank down to a couple of gallons so I should be in the e20 ballpark. Lambda at idle is 1 so that seems right. Is the percent really that far off?
Anyone had there Alcohol percent shoot up to 91 once the learn flag sets. I was at around 68% after a e85 fillup and immediately when the learn flag went from 0 to 1 the percent climbed to 91. Anyone else seen this?
Gas quality is a huge factor. On the stock tune the 91 here in Az would still show +2 and change on positive knock. The only way to get it down was race gas. If you can clear it up with race fuel I doubt it is false knock.

Just got my flex tune from lund. Couldn't wait to try it so I added about a half tank of e85 to my 93 mix and kept it out of wot and under 2500 rpm until the alcohol percent hit 40. Is there any other pid to look at on the sct to confirm that it has learned the fuel mix?
Anyone logged a lund tune for 91? At wot I am see constant positive knock that reaches the mid 3s by 6k rpm. I think I may just have cappy gas here in az since the stock tune would run up to the mid 2s.
Are you at wot when you are seeing this? The largest timing retard value I have seen is 3 degrees under wot. I have seen up to 6 during partial throttle input. This is for a 91 octane tune.
I have not had any audible knock so that's why I was looking for folks that have data logs on these tunes. Coming from the turbo 4 cylinder world I may be over sensitive to knock readings.
Have you logged the knock on a wot pull? Just looking for a comparision. I am getting +3 with the steeda, and +2 with the stock and sct. To be fair it was 10 degrees hotter outside when I did the steeda pull.

I hear that, I have seen similar loses in the aerospace world. I bet the variable that sets the maf scaling was "fat fingered" given the rich condition at idle and the open loop performance was ok.
Ran the new revision today and it is much better! Still wondering what happened. Doubt it was a bad compile or corrupted since the car did run. Big thanks to TJ for getting this moving.
Just changed my oil and was surprised to find a gasket vs the crush washer. Well I think is was a gasket as it did not look like a regular crush washer. Did you torque the bolt to 19 ft lb?
