I have the Steeda H-pipe and stock mufflers- no rasp at all and no drone. Sounds exactly like stock but about 10% louder, which is hardly noticeable, really.
Ah OK. Wasn't sure-- it's been 15 years since I lived there. It's totally up to you, of course, but I'd be concerned about drone with a muffler delete, even with the resonator in place.
They seem to break loose with any sort of spirited driving, especially from a stop, and especially if the road is the least bit wet. I know the car has quite a bit of HP, but even the stock Pirelli POS tires were better. I had 555s (not the G2) on my Mach 1 and liked them a lot.
I have the stock (non-PP size) G2s on the rear now (235-50-18) and am not super happy with them. Yes they're better than the P Zero Neros but that's not saying much. What tire pressure would be best to try and improve traction a bit? I'm running them at 32 psi right now and the car is at stock...
Just adding my name to the list of people whose evaporators have had to be replaced. Just got it back today, so too early to tell how long it'll last. At least right now it's better-- was warm on driver's side before like several have mentioned.
