Sorry guys, can we keep the posts roughly on topic?
I was hoping this was going to become a sticky thread, especially once I get some clearance measurements. It'll help reduce the number of people asking the same question repeatedly.
I was caught off guard by some mis-information about the GT350 wheels, so here are the 'official' wheel specs with photos to back-up the specs.
Front
19x10.5", 30mm offset, 60.5lb (with 295/35/19 stock tire)
Rear
19x11", 62mm offset, 61lb (with 305/35/19 stock tire)

I have a couple of questions about the Tire Pressure Monitoring System:
- Are the individual tire pressures viewable from inside the car or is it just an idiot light?
- Does anyone have experience with using them to measure relative, not absolute, tire pressures at the track? Has anyone...
Keep going. I called approximately 40 dealerships before I found one at MSRP. This was back in June/July before a lot of the dealerships knew what they had though. Still waiting for it to be delivered too!
I also sold my 03 Cobra to buy the GT350. :brokenheart:
Yes. And I say that as a mechanical engineer who as actually looked into it, not repeating what I found on the internet. Since the spacer is just returning the aftermarket wheel to the stock wheel offset, there is no additional load put into the stock hub and studs. The spacer has to be...
I decided to go with Forgestar 19x11, 56mm offset on all four corners with 29mm spacers on the front. I'll be running 305/30/19 for the track, probably NT-01s.
In fact, I already have the rims at the house but no car to put it on.
It is infuriating that Ford didn't make a reasonable accommodations for tow hooks, front or rear. I had the same issue on my 03 Cobra.
A tow hook is going to be the first modification I do to the car, even if I have to build it myself.
I'm trying to purchase a new trailer for the GT350, but don't have mine yet.
Can one of the lucky members measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the drivers door for clearing a trailer fender?
That's the way that I was leaning as well, but I couldn't beat the price. My previous cars were never setup well enough to get even tire wear all the way around. Hopefully the new one will be better.
I'm planning on having the dealership do the track alignment specs before I pick up the car.
Forgestar is having a black Friday deal on their F14 style for 35% off. It's not my favorite wheel, but it'll work for the track. I picked up 4 of them, 19x11" ET56 for $1200 shipped. I'll just run 30mm spacers on the front so I can rotate wheels.

I've been looking for hooks as well. Cool Tech made some nice ones for the BOSS. I would think they would make them for the GT350 as well. I'm not sure about cutting a hole in my bumper yet though...

Woo-hoo! My car (#1102) was built on Wednesday this week. Hopefully just another 3-4 weeks to get it down to the Sunshine State.
It's just the start of track season down here since the summer is way too hot, and I've got an itch to run the car where it belongs.
