You spotted my garage buddy, I can't go in there without her following me. I have to be extra vigilant, she reeeally wants to help, which to her could mean a ratchet to the side of the car. When my son was that age he tried to help my wax my black beemer. With a rock.
I settled on middle...
I do plan to swap them out when the weather changes, but man I'm enjoying them now! I read your post about the Bridgestones earlier, I'll probably be following your lead on them. I have never seen tires pick up so much off the street. It's like taking a lint roller down the road, probably...
I would assume many of us pp2 owners have added ZL1 Add-ons or some other rock guard to protect the SC2's from flinging gravel and anything else they pic up at your paint. I have installed them but noticed this patch in front of both rear tires. I'm assuming the front tires are sending rocks to...
In this case it wasn't the alignment, it is that the holes on the driver side brace weren't drilled out large enough. It was literally impossible to get both bolts in simultaneously until I grinded it out to match the other side.
I would agree the second steeda response is more in line with that would be expected. I will say this, I've put about 20 miles on now since install. These things are a mandatory purchase as far as I'm concerned. The car feels so planted, solid and straight now. I can't believe they don't...
They are on, I burred the holes a little and it went on in seconds. Just drove the kids to a birthday party, unfortunately it was just down the street. Even pulling out of the driveway it felt stiffer, however. That little shimmy I felt from driveway to road was gone.
I have, the problem is that the front, regardless of the others being in, out, half way, ect, still isn't wide enough. The other side is on and took 5 minutes. Can't wait to get them on, other than the holes being a little short these things look beefy!
Thanks for the input. I did try prying and all possible combinations of which bolts went first and how loose/tight, but unless that front bracket somehow stretches it isn't working. It's at least a quarter inch off which sends the bolt in diagonally. I'm really impatient, I'm sure I'm be out...
Trying for some late night garage time, thought I would have an hour or less installing Steeda IRS braces, I've been reading nothing but positive reviews and couldn't wait to get them in. My mission hit a snag however. I started on the driver side, and after getting under there and seeing what...
Thanks for the feedback! I think I'll give it a shot, can easily remove it if I don't like it. I like the modern with a little throwback styling! Thinking of the matching round emblem on the rear too, I'll post a pic when it arrives...
Tossing around the idea of adding a 67' GT emblem to wake the front end up a little. Can't decide. Link to poll:

I think I'm going to add this 67' GT emblem. I love the design, it's understated, and I haven't seen it (though I'm sure it's been done). Constructive criticism? Center? Side? None?
