Oh, the white interior, haven't seen a car yet with white inside as yet in person, only ebony and saddle.
32 delivery miles sounds quite a bit as well and it doesn't look like the dealership have done any with all the coverings still on, wonder why it's high. Mine was 17 miles and the 17th...
Excited lol, I would have done the same if I lived closer. Like a father with a sea of babies though in the maternity ward and having no idea which is yours
Nige, I'm surprised you aren't at the docks yourself lol with your face against the chain link fence. It's a bit disappointing that I missed out on the last bit as the car pretty much arrived in the U.K. when I did, in fact a day before I did.
Never driven an auto before, despite my technology background though, I prefer to be in complete control of the car, even if it means being in the wrong gear at the wrong time lol.
Beautiful collection. Rolled up in my Mustang to a guy at work who works up in Yorkshire and he opens the garage door to reveal his Escort RS2000 rally car that he goes rallying in.
One minor thing I'd like to be a little better is the changing of gears. Is there anything I can upgrade or do to make the gear changes a little less notchy, any upgrades?
I normally go to second at about 1500. I think the annoying arrow on my dashboard demands I change to 6th when I hit 40. I do think the only cure for it though is lots more driving and getting used to it.
I think 99% of the people who drive a BMW is a middle manager that has it as a company car, lots of 3 series, and they're driven by people who aspire to be a middle manager, that's where all the 1 series come in. The head guy in IT here drives a 1 series, the lowly guy working in the trenches...
