  1. Is everyones else's GT doing this?

Yes Agreed. I wish I would have known about these cans when my supercrew was new. Who knows how much oil has collected in the intake since it was new now with 74k on the clock.
  2. Is everyones else's GT doing this?

yeah I got about 3k on mine now and it doesn't take but a few hundred miles and it easily gets about an ounce in it.
  3. Door locks and car washing

I'm glad to hear the doors won't lock with the key in it. I was tolerating the lock cycling but I think that will lead to premature wear over time.
  4. No drill license plate bracket options

STO and SHO. Although, watch out on the steep drives and what not. I already flattened out the mounting holes on mine and had to fix them. It only takes one small hit and the plate bracket won't fit after that. It's worth it though as I did not want that ugly plate bracket from the factory on my...
  5. Consumer Reports on '15-'16 Mustang

For real I can attest to that since my trunk lid is out of alignment and I have a couple of paint issues myself. I am kind of disappointed that Ford misses these things. I'm reading about plenty of issues with F-Series as well so hopefully over time Ford can get these issues fixed.
  6. Post your MPG's

Update here. I am still averaging right around 20MPG hand calculated. I do punch the car from time to time so I am pleased with the overall MPG of this car. My truck with the 5.0 doesn't tolerate any full throttle fun without penalizing me on MPG.
  7. Is everyones else's GT doing this?

I noticed that it takes no time at all for the oil separator can to fill up with a decent amount of oil. I have the JLT. Is everyone else's GT the same or should I expect it to decline a bit as the engine gets more miles on it?
  8. How many of you have NEVER owned a Mustang previously?

I have never owned a Mustang before. Always trucks including a Lightning that I still have. The Mustang is a pretty damn nice car. I'm enjoying it more and more as the days go by.
  9. Corsa Sport and Steeda diff bushings...DONE!

Very good to hear. Thanks for the feedback on that.
  10. Steeda Transmission Bushing

No hole drilled as this was the shifter bushing and not the trans bushing. It does work really well.
  11. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Installed Steeda Shifter Bushing, Steeda Jack Rails and Cherry Bomb Vortex mufflers. Next will be the diff bushings when I get some more time.
  12. Steeda Transmission Bushing

I just thought I'd share my thoughts on this shifter bushing. It was fairly easy to install and shifting is definitely more positive feeling now especially the ease of ripping through the gears. There is no NVH increase from what I can tell and the sloppiness of the shifter is mostly eliminated...
  13. Corsa Sport and Steeda diff bushings...DONE!

Very good to hear. Does your car have the thud like everyone else? If so, how have the Steeda bushings helped out on that? I still need to install mine but it appears that they have helped out significantly with others?
  14. 6 Speed Manual Transmission - opinions from owners

The transmission in the car is pretty good aside from the thud which will hopefully be mostly eliminated with the steeda rear bushing kit as well as the trans bushing. I'm used to the steering since my supercrew is also electrically assisted. Overall, it runs and drives very well.
  15. GT owners, anyone else start to go sideways when you floor it...

My car will struggle for traction when I punch it. It's weird too as I ca feel this side to side type movement as if the diff is constantly transferring power between the rears. It does make for some fun when spirited driving comes along.
  16. So how many of you still have green valve stem caps?

I still have mine just need to replace them.
  17. Spare Tire option

Here is what I was looking at: Is the T-2R not the same as the T-2 (Type B)? The way I reading seemed like the R is just a more stout version. http://torsen.info/products/products.htm
  18. Is this the thud?

So the thud is more like a dull knock that you can here and feel in the car as a whole. At least in my car anyway. It sounds just like a thud, dull knock or something. I can feel it in every gear when shifting and when sitting at a light when throwing the car back in gear after being in neutral...
  19. Spare Tire option

I plan on on getting another GTPP front wheel for a full size spare and securing it in the trunk. It should fit deflated. I just need to figure out how to keep it in place.
  20. Spare Tire option

I'm pretty sure the torsen on these cars is capable of having a donut on one end and a regular tire on the other. At least that's what I remember reading about with this type of torsen.
