  1. Which lowering springs

You should still be able to set the alignment inside the standard geometry specifications with the ProKit springs.
  2. Think I may need an H-Pipe

We have fitted a variety of different brands of H pipe. We ended up getting our own one made. The principle reason being that the market leader design relies on a but joint with a double ended sleeve joiner. This needs to grip the cut exhaust and the H pipe - it struggles to grip on the shiny...
  3. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

Yes - the new 2018 kit uses a 3.0L Supercharger whereas the 2015-17 was a 2.9L Power figures that I'm quoting are flywheel horsepower measured on pump fuel at an independent TAT dyno.
  4. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

Fundamentally you're right an 18MY kit would fit on a 17MY - there are differences in the fuel lines, evap and breather hoses so there would be some work to make those fit and you'd need a few small parts from a 17MY kit to make it all work along with a unique tune. Trimming the K brace is not...
  5. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

We honestly don't know as we've only run a Stage 2 2018 kit so far. On a 17MY a Stage 1 is 600hp and a Stage 2 is 650hp with the Whipple tune - on this 18MY a Stage 2 makes 600hp with the Whipple tune - So I'd hope a Stage 1 on the 2018 would be around 565hp
  6. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

This is a customer car which will be leaving us in the next few days - going abroad I believe.
  7. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

The new kits are specific to the 2018MY+ The previous kits (which we've fitted 17 of now) are still supported and supplied for the 2015-17.
  8. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

The Stage 1 kit is £8995 including VAT and fitting - Stage 2 is £900 more. Takes about three days to install - lead time on kits from Whipple is around 3 to 4 weeks as they're built to order.
  9. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

Just to update you on this - we have now finished the first UK/European installation of a Whipple supercharger kit on a 2018MY car with Whipple providing everything including the calibration. It retains the standard headers with GPF and works very well. The increased back pressure in the system...
  10. Which lowering springs

We’ve recently been fitting the Pedders lowering springs which have much the same drop as the Eibach Pro Kit and are the same price as the Ford ones at £145 a set. (Ford spec Eibach kit is around 3 to 5mm higher than the Eibach Pro Kit). I personally think these are the best value out there at...
  11. Bad Start to GT Ownership

We've seen dozens and dozens of cars and never seen or heard of anything like that. It sounds to me like an earthing issue - I think i'd be reversing out of the deal - there are plenty of other good cars out there.
  12. Various take off parts for sale, hoods, bumpers, wings etc

I should have said - both front bumpers.
  13. Various take off parts for sale, hoods, bumpers, wings etc

We have a selection of parts available at GT101 which have been removed from new 2015- 2107 cars prior to upgrades being fitted: Hoods in Black, Triple Yellow, Race Red, Lightning Blue and Magnetic £495 each Bumpers in Triple Yellow and Black £195 each Front wings LH and RH in black £150 each...
  14. Need a supercharger

As far as I know there isn't a UK tune for any 2018MY supercharger install yet. The issue is the 18MY has gasoline particulate filters (GPF) which the US doesn't have and these affect the exhaust back pressure considerably. We are looking at a couple of options at the moment which include a UK...
  15. RTR Upper Grill

We splice the RTR grille lights into the sidelight feed - that way the owner has control of when they're on. If you feed them from the DRLs then the grille lights will go off when the headlamps or sidelights are switched on. (the sidelights stay on when the headlamps are on).
  16. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

We've had one on a ramp and there are sensors mounted off the chassis rails that these lines run to. They are only two wire sensors I think - hence we're assuming that it's a simple pressure make/break switch. I assume the remote mounting is to help the sensors survive the temperatures. On the...
  17. Gas particulate filter on new 18-19 GT?

That's a good picture - I believe that the pipework runs up to sensors - which I presume are measuring pressure - there's no oxygen source that I'm aware of. There's no reason you couldn't fit headers to an 18MY but you would need a mechanism to deal with the inevitable check engine light that...
  18. North West specialists

I hear only good things about Micheal Scott - "Micks Auto Repairs' in Leyland. He owns a heavily modified S550 himself.
  19. Tow bar

Showing my age here - I ran the PTSE team (Power Train Systems Engineering) on the ST220 Program - we worked alongside the TASE team (Thermal & Aerodynamic System Engineering) and the transmission cooling was marginal without any towing (we even had to add vents to the under tray) - it would...
  20. Spacer Problem

As Hinch and Enoch say I'd suspect the subframe isn't sitting centrally in the bushes. Not a major issue to resolve on a ramp.
