Here's another question:
If i'm running low 700whp on E85 with the Sai Li fuel system..will i need BAPs?
I would think the answer is no, since the kit is rated for quite a bit of power...
but i've heard that some have had issues with it tapping out sooner than expected.
Yeah that’s what I was worried about...
The system came with a fuel pressure gauge but that will obviously be under the hood.
What would be the best way to monitor it?
And where would you tap off of the fuel line to read pressure?
Thanks a ton!... super helpful!
So would I be right to assume that if the fuel pump starts the car then it’s working fine?
No such thing a fuel pump halfway working, or losing flow rate over time?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I figure I’ll ask for forgiveness later ;)....
If anyone has the stock plastic procharger inlet/filter they’re looking to sell, please let me know!
I just recently purchased a used sai li fuel system.. apparently it only has less than 1k miles on it... my question is: is there a good way to test the fuel pumps before I install them? I'm sure they're in fine shape...i'd just love to confirm that before they go in.
Any ideas/advice?
thanks!
I thought about running meth but Lund said they won’t tune for it... just take advantage of the cooling. I’m not an expert by any means and he would know much better than me but Lund saying it’s not worth running E is a little confusing... if you read all the most recent research, it seems the...
Well I guess since mine is a very early kit it uses silicon for most of the piping. But I wasn’t concerned about charge pipe blow out but rather inlet collapse ( which frankly I wasn’t even concerned about until I caught wind of the possibility.)
Thanks for the update...honestly super helpful!
Those are some good numbers! Stock drive line??? Honestly probably a little more than i want to make if i'm being honest...(i'm more the cautious type haha) Maybe i should run the 3.5" pulley hmmm...
Only difference on my end will be fuel. Az...
