9.9 out of 10 dealer techs will never figure out how to do it as they rely on the car to tell the system what it is. your car is lying about what it is, and it takes a relatively competent tech to work around this. Not something you want to blindly roll up to a dealer to get done, more-so...
Chances are somebody loaded a tune that scrambled the calibration ID. This keeps the dealer from being able to communicate with it since it bases its communication on that calibration ID. Anybody experienced with these PCMs could help you get a factory calibration flashed back into it, and...
Looking at 2 different 275/40-19s, Michelin 21747 vs 66344. Both seem to have identical specs other than weight. The 66344 is about 2.5lbs lighter than the other but costs $20 more.
Anyone have details on the differences? Is one the OEM spec for the PP1?
Thanks!

is it possible, maybe, that the product actually outperforms their own claims?
also, anyone comparing this to how their p1x street car runs at a similar weight is not paying attention. This is a sorted out combination...
In for the answer here as well.

Having to remove the pcm for unlock is nothing new. Been happening in the euro world for years and any 15+ dodge that has been tuned had the pcm removed and unlocked first as well.
My guess is there will be an obdii based unlock for the new Mustang in the next 6 months.

C8 DCT is oddly still unavailable. The ECM is fully tuneable up to 23 I believe.
There has been a popular piggyback solution for the FI C8s for a while but it’s slowly being replaced with proper tuning. Those dct markets are relatively small in the grand scheme of things, so it’s not a huge...
His P1-SC is not the same as your P1-X. Nothing wrong with the -sc at all, but IMO if he had started with a P1-X he’d never have contemplated this swap in the first place 😉
