  1. Mustang "Lithium" Battery Electric Prototype Signals Future With 900+ HP / 1000 FT-LBS Torque!

Maybe - and at probably a third the price - but the Tesla (also American) has a motor driving the front (two driving the back) wheels too - would have the AWD advantage unless some of what we’ve heard about platform-sharing plans is true...
  2. Mustang "Lithium" Battery Electric Prototype Signals Future With 900+ HP / 1000 FT-LBS Torque!

Sure thing! Nice to see someone thinking about those poor Chinese kids! And I’m pretty sure the current crop of lithium batteries are recyclable - might put one in my 5.0 to save some weight. I’ll also grant you that solar makes more sense than the current windmill designs - pretty sure there...
  3. Mustang "Lithium" Battery Electric Prototype Signals Future With 900+ HP / 1000 FT-LBS Torque!

Electrics are far and away more efficient than gas cars - as in you can go 2000 miles on the equivalent of maybe one tank of gas - Jason Fenske has a video up on it. I love the idea of a manual - and you can probably start in any gear, and keep it in that gear the whole time. You can probably...
  4. Steeda's New S550 Mustang Pro-Active Dampers (15-19 All)

Keep us updated! I'm wondering if you'll need camber bolts or plates to get back into spec -- probably not...
  5. Steeda's New S550 Mustang Pro-Active Dampers (15-19 All)

Did you have any additional stuff installed to get it aligned?
  6. Steeda's New S550 Mustang Pro-Active Dampers (15-19 All)

Will this setup with the minimum drop springs help with performance from a dig? I would expect ride and handling to improve, but it looks like the minimum drop springs have a little more rate than the stock performance pack in both front and rear -- maybe I misunderstand what helps when...
  7. The "what things weigh thread."

In my limited experience with Tire Rack, they tend to err on the side of stating a pound or so heavier -- the wheels I've received from them have all been slightly lighter than advertised. This could be (sometimes is) related to the amount of hub material -- the wheel is cast, and then the...
  8. Quietest axel-back exhaust

Thanks for posting this -- I've kind of wondered what it looked like in there.
  9. Quietest axel-back exhaust

I'm way, way late to the party -- I don't disagree with the "go back to stock, and put on an x-pipe" people -- but I'd consider going with what I've got: the SPL Loudmouth II's -- they are Roush axlebacks, but have more filament in them, making them quieter. The finishers look way better than...
  10. 2020 EcoBoost High Performance Package, 330 HP / 350 LB-FT, 0-60 mid 4's [Updated With Video]

Beautiful car -- and really respectable numbers! And it sounds too flatulent.
  11. Edelbrock 2300 TVS 690HP Stage 1 Supercharger Kit - $4,999.00

does the strut tower brace fit over this kit?
  12. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

I’ve had PP1 longer than the spring - but no issues with the spring. I don’t have NLS issues either. I may take it out to see if the pedal stays on the floor under max performance acceleration runs as a troubleshooting step prior to upgrading the cutch line and/fluid - but it’s not a NLS issue.
  13. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

I’ll second that if that’s all inclusive, I’d jump on that - and get some triangle OPG’s installed for an additional thousand all inclusive.
  14. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

What Ford Performance wants you to believe is that the powertrain warranty drops. I suppose under certain prescribed conditions, it would. But if you install a Ford Performance - or other - aftermarket tune, and you blow your engine, the onus is on Ford to prove your tune caused it under the...
  15. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

Some additional food for thought: From a lawyer who seems to specialize in vehicle warranty claims: http://lehtoslaw.com/will-modifications-void-new-car-warranty/ SEMA on an FTC ruling: https://www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts Your mileage may...
  16. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

Ford has to honor it the remainder of the warranty so long as the mechanic is certified by ASE -- for a Ford -- not Roush -- tune -- I went ahead and did mine myself. Under the law, aftermarket parts/tunes do not legally void any warranties (though you may have to be willing to litigate, which...
  17. Aftermarket clutch lines - any experiences? Remedy for a sticking clutch?

Thanks folks - that’s all helpful. Still trying to determine if it would be worth the additional $200 for the FRPP, or if the Steeda is helpful enough. There’s an SVE one that looks similar to the Steeda from LMR, but would expect that one to be disappointing - I’d rather just do the job once...
  18. Aftermarket clutch lines - any experiences? Remedy for a sticking clutch?

Hello -- I'm wondering if anyone has personal experience with either the Steeda braided, or Ford Performance clutch line upgrades? Have any of you on occasion had your clutch stick at high RPM?
  19. Wow. Shifter bracket.

I love my Blowfish bracket -- but this or an MGW will likely do the same for you.
  20. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

You can just outright STEAL a used '15-'17 now too -- that would be more than enough to tide you over, and the most accelerated depreciation is over with on those cars, so it's not such a financial hit -- but if you want new, you want new -- and I totally get that. The feeling of ordering a new...
