Did anyone actually call this dealer on this exact car or is everything that has been said pure conjecture?
I just checked and no longer see it listed on Ford.com, dealer's website, or Autotrader so whatever the real story was it looks like it has been sold.
Best Buy stores are not franchised. They are owned and operated by Best Buy who sets the pricing for all stores which is why they can run a national ad campaign and set a selling price.
I'm not saying this from a pro/anti ADM standpoint. Just clarifying that a franchised dealership has...
On 2016s - for sure based on many recent posts.
If you check sold listings on eBay motors for instance cars seem to be selling at $1K to $3K over MSRP in general. If you watch auctions bidding stalls pretty quickly once it hits MSRP. Track pack cars and discontinued colors are probably...
6 months would probably be generous on an R...
Anyone tested how much grip a Sport Cup 2 has on a 35 degree morning? That's 2 degrees celsius for you fancy Canadians.
Those damn Canucks are getting a pretty decent % of cars considering they have about 11% of the US population. Statistically speaking, about 50% more cars per capita than us southerners.
Also 6.5% of them are Rs in US, but 10% in Canada.
In summary, all of the maple syrup in the world doesn't...
Maybe, but there has been a long lull in Raptor production and 2017s are still a ways off so there is a very limited supply of late model/low mileage trucks. Regardless of the 2017 specs I think the relative demand would be quite high right now because of that shortage.
And holy hell have the Raptor's held their value. As much as ADMs are painful the Raptor is a pretty good example of how buying a rare vehicle can really mitigate typical depreciation.
For an R or regular GT350? From my research I actually think WA is just as bad or worse than CA.
But, we have already seen postings at $5K over in other regions:

Totally agree about the looks. I really don't like touchscreens in cars (work great sitting in the garage, not so much when driving down the road, also smudges) but the base unit is not very flattering.
agreed ^^^ - but a couple other thoughts:
Most reports are that even the upgraded stereo isn't all that great so though I have no personal experience with the GT350 $3K buys a hell of an aftermarket stereo.
Nav is nice even on occasion but a smartphone and mount can certainly work in a pinch...
The production has to shut down briefly to get the minor 2017 changes made so I actually doubt they have the breathing room to just delay that one week.
At the end of the day you may only end up waiting an extra month at most if they can get you an early 2017 car.
That being said, if you...
I don't really care which car we are talking about but in general if I can order a car exactly as you want it I generally do (or scour dealers to find it).
The wait is tough but if you regret a color or an option you will be kicking yourself.
ADM or not my wife just doesn't get it. She tells me I should spend a little more money and get a slightly used 911.
Cause she is a brand whore and doesn't know WTF a FPC is or why this is more than just a Mustang. She just doesn't get me like you guys do.
If a dealer can actually place an order they have the allocation but that still doesn't indicate when a car goes into production.
I don't think it is as much of an issue of Ford mis-handling things as it is just the reality of the franchise distribution model and a relatively limited # of cars...
I get your point but no need to be incendiary.
I don't plan on paying ADM either but with very few exceptions all cars depreciate the instant your drive it off the lot. Each person's tolerance is just different. I guarantee you that a GT350 will depreciate less than nearly every other $60K...
I have a Recaro car seat and went to the dealer to test fit. Just squeezing it between the door frame and front seats is a tight fit but my 4 year old can sit in there just fine though the passenger seat can only be about mid track.
I won't keep a car seat in there permanently and because it...
