LOL kind of a weird question. Has anyone tried fitting car seats in the back seat? I have one boy who is facing forward and my other boy should be facing forward by the time I take delivery by the end of the year. From the looks of it a rear facing car seat would be impossible. It would be nice to take my boys out in the GT350 every now and then. If not, they can roll with mom in the family sedan while I have alone time in the GT350. Haha

Strap them to the roof and proclaim "have fun!". It's called "pulling a Mitt Romney".

I have a 8 yr old and 4 yr old grand kids. I use the travel boosters ( inflatable) and they work perfect

I took my girls for a ride yesterday in boosters...they fit but its tight. The boosters were actually a bit too wide and sort of sat on the side bolsters of the rear seats.

I have a Recaro car seat and went to the dealer to test fit. Just squeezing it between the door frame and front seats is a tight fit but my 4 year old can sit in there just fine though the passenger seat can only be about mid track.

I won't keep a car seat in there permanently and because it was such a tight fit not something I'll use often - but technically it is possible.

I would think a rear-facing seat would be really difficult unless you completely sacrificed the front passenger seat by moving it all the way forward and the back at least vertical.

But other than that, a high-back booster for my 6-year-old works great.

Not to derail the thread but when my kids were that age all I could afford was the family cruiser or mini-van. So celebrate and be thankful you can have both a cool car and kids at the same time :)

I fit my 5 month old rear facing behind the passenger.

Won't do it again. The angle of the rear seat compared to level is to great. The car seat wouldn't be completely flush against the seat cushion no matter what I did and how high I adjusted the baby seat leveler.

In fact when we parked on my parents steep driveway, the angel of the back seat compound with the angel of the driveway and my daughters head was completely forward, Chin on chest - as a baby that's a no no.

Tread carefully guys this is not a family sedan or mini van.

Yeah, wrong tool for the job fellas.
Negative. I've been shoving car seats in the back of much smaller cars since my kids were born.

Full size, metal frame child car seats (ages 2 and 4 at the time) in my back of my 911 GTS ready for track day. The tech guys loved them.
