  1. What did you do to your GT350 today?

If you make a little longer trip here the Northwoods Shelby Club is having a weekend at Road America April 20-21. Your going to LOVE Road America!
  2. What did you do to your GT350 today?

    Which event at Road America?
  3. Staggered or Squared Setup?

So is this wear from too much camber on the street? It seems like from what I've read lots of camber on the track is what you want so you don't wear out the outside of the fronts. Does a person need to adjust the camber and toe if your running on both the track and street?
  4. Staggered or Squared Setup?

Never mind, I just watched the Steeda video and now it makes sense. Forgot about the different offsets of the wheels.
  5. Staggered or Squared Setup?

I know very little about this at this point. So I can't just bolt on stock rear wheels and 305/35/19 tires on the front without doing all these mods?
  6. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

The name probably means more to me than others. This is my third Shelby starting in the early 80's. My first was a 69 GT500 and I still have the second, a 69 GT350 convertible. Part of it is the memories we’ve had with these cars and the people that we’ve gotten to know because of them, and the...
  7. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Get them around cars at a young age, and its a lot more likely they will continue to be into cars. The picture of the boy on the right in front of Lorne's GT350 at a show is my favorite nieces son who is into cars. I took him to Road America for the IMSA races this past Summer and he got a...
  8. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Thanks Lorne! I had this personal plate for my first two Shelby's until I went with Collector plates, and was surprised it was still available. It was nice to pull up the cover to put it on, but it made it tough to put it back down and not drive it. The roads are still white with salt, and today...
  9. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Put my new license plate on.
  10. Ford Inspector for Warranty Repair-Update:Warranty Denied Claim Due to Off Road Racing

I've been doing HPDE for close to 40 years, and at every drivers meeting before anyone goes on the track they tell us "this is not a race. If you think it is leave". They bring this up a number of times during the meeting. If you start to think it is, they call you in and give you a talking to.
  11. Crankshaft Model Stand Badge

[email protected] www.wattsitworth.com [wattsitworth.com] Kim Kohler. $20.00 + shipping and tax. Does very nice work. I'm very happy with what the one he made for me.
  12. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

I've seen Coyotes being worked on at my auto machine shop friends shop. Mainly head or valve problems. Came out of daily driver cars and trucks. Nothing is bullet proof. Buy what you can afford to fix.
  13. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

I'm a little embarrassed to show mine compared to what you guys have, but its all I have. Got to show the other end of the spectrum.
  14. Steeda vs Ford Camber Plates

Are the Vorshlag worth being almost double the price compared to the Steeda and Ford Performance camber plates on a car that will be used for the street and track? What are the benefits other than being able to adjust caster?
  15. Full production breakdown of the GT350R including rarest specs (2015 - 2020)

Are these available to anyone? Are these available to have made and how much?
  16. Official GT350/R Mustang Owners Registry

One of the previous owners put on the spoiler, tinted the windows, L&R oil catch cans, either powder coated or painted the calipers red, and put a Ford Performance sticker on the windshield.
  17. Official GT350/R Mustang Owners Registry

I bought this 2018 GT350 J2042 November 11/24/23 from Don Baker Ford in Plainfield, Ill. Two previous owners, sold new in Nebraska. First owner was in Iowa, second in Plainfield. Race Red with white stripes. 7500 miles. Electronics package. Now lives in New London with my other Shelby.
  18. What did you do to your GT350 today?

The Shelby's are put away for the winter, but that's when I go snowmobiling to get my fix of speed. Time goes by fast when you have an activity like snowmobiling to get you through the winter. Still waiting for snow though this year. Winter is also a good time here to build engines, and do other...
  19. Warranty questions.

If it's certified pre-owned they come with one year/12,000 mile ESP. That's the only reason the 6 year/40,0000 mile was available.
  20. Warranty questions.

I was able to read the full 11 pages of the warranty. Decided to go with it, even with the things not covered saying "racing". I talked to a Ford service manager at a local Ford dealer that is also a Shelby dealer. He said it won't be a problem as long as the car is maintained properly and not...
