I think its lawyers talking telling people not to powder coat Brembo calipers. Aren't the R Model calipers powder coated red? I powder coated some 18Z Brembo's on my Z and have tracked them for 3 years without a problem and with no fade. It was a bitch getting the factory powder coating off.

Do you need to completely flush the old stock fluid when going to SRF660 for the first time? Should a liter flush the whole system? I do two or three track days a year, and bleed the brakes before track days so the fluid is fairly fresh.

The same dealership in two different cities and two different R models. Neither one are a Base. They have radio and AC. I drove the white one. It came from Florida and New York before that. Ask for Mason at the dealership. Good guy to deal with.

I'm pretty partial to red. Had to have it with the white stripes. Didn't have to worry about Race Red attracting police attention going into turn 6 here at Road America. I've found it helps being an old, bald, graying guy when getting stopped by police.
