Not really, 1st is way to short and its hard not to hit the fuel cutoff. The tt gets fun after 2nd gear.... so much torque I think the 350 is going to be a much better street and track car than an 8yr old 99tt

It's not that much more expensive than a well equipped GT and much more car.. and I'm pretty sure it's not outrunning a 991 GT3. Probably not even the 997 4.0

That's cool. Sometimes they are not the same. Redline on my 997tt is 6750, but fuel cut is somewhere just north of 7k

I like well built mechanical things. Cars, watches, guns, etc. The 350 is a very cool car and one of the few that is still somewhat "analog" and with a MT. I won't pay 10k ADM regardless of price on it though.

No joke, that's a 997 GT3 it beat and 5+yr old car now... it also gets trounced by a number of cars in a similar price range (same if you go 1-2yr old used on stuff like Z06 and GTR)

I told them a long time ago, which is why I was first in line. They are getting one. Tech and track pack can be had together(or whichever electronics package doesn't exclude the recaros and track stuff) Next guy in line can pay the 10k. I'll wait patiently...have more toys than I can play with...

I went down to the local ford dealer here to place my 350 order. They didn't even know about this car until I told them and even then they didn't believe me :) Spec'd out a white with blue/black stipe, tech and track packages. Came out to 59K and I was happy until they tacked on a $10k ADM...
