Bummer. Make sure the white plug with many pins at the top of the unit behind the screen is plugged in very firm. The one I got was a bitch and took some power to push it fully clicked in. That is the only plug that would effect the screen displaying.
Thanks for letting us know OySmallFry@SCS. I think it would help a lot of people if you updated the first page with the list and if refunds or badges are being mailed out next to every person. I am #56 and I am still not clear on what to expect.
Yeah. You won't be able to prove anything after the fact. Won't really help you. You can try and contact the other party and see if you can come to an agreement about not getting insurance involved.
Dude, this isn't even remotely true. Someone doing 100mph in a parking lot and hitting you...
You aren't the first person to make this comment. Not sure why the Tomtop is getting such a bad name. $300 and you get everything, including navigation. Only bugs on newer build is temperature only reading in C and in one of the menus a mute button displays as Chinese characters. Other than...
It really all depends. If he says "I looked away for a moment and then we hit" or "I was probably going 35mph through the parking lot", etc. Something stupid to incriminate himself then it'll play to your favor. I suggest contacting your insurance company ASAP and have them call the guy for his...
I'm not an expert at estimates, sorry. All I know is bumpers being replaced by body shops + labor = very expensive, very quickly. Also, it appears that he already cleared some of your parking spot before you both made contact. It would have looked better if he basically t-boned your rear...
Were the witnesses random people or your friends that were with you? If random people, that will hold better than your friends as adjusters won't typically consider them a credible witness.
If you have no other accidents, and no other speeding violations, I wouldn't be too concerned about...
Also, some advice.. you may want to take down your public videos of you breaking 100mph+ on a highway. You never know what insurance companies will be able to find. Just isn't a good idea to have that stuff public.
That may be true for FL, but definitely not true in CA. Especially if the other driver admits fault. While I will agree you are 99% more likely to be at fault for backing out of a parking spot, or rear-ending someone, that doesn't mean it always goes that way. I've been a broker for about 10...
A bit more complicated than that. It's $1,000 TOTAL. That means damage to your vehicle and damage to his vehicle should you be found at fault and liable.
Not only that, but if you are found liable, you would still be responsible for your collision deductible before your insurance company paid...
I only listened to it once, but it sounds like one of you prompt him with "you understand it's your fault" and he just says OK, after admitting he doesn't know how this type of situation works. I don't think that will hold up well with an adjuster.
Each insurance company will call you both...
I'm not sure why they told you CA is a "no-fault state". Maybe when talking about workers compensation, but definitely not personal auto insurance. More than likely, you will be assigned at least 51% at fault. If that is the case, it will go against your driving record as 1 point and will...
Just to provide some clarification on the insurance end of this:
If you have an agreed amount policy, the insurance company will pay you the agreed (agreed upon by you as the insured and with the insurer)
A stated amount policy is not as good as an agreed amount policy because the insurer...

...v6 lol. Apparently they were doing donuts and throwing sandwiches from the car
This is exactly how I set mine off. I raised the steering wheel slightly. I also thought getting the gt350 wheel with flat bottom would be best solution.
Lol, nevermind. Figured it out after posting this new thread. You select all from subscribed thread list, then at bottom, you can say move to "no email notification folder"
I turned off email notifications as default for my subscribed threads, however the currently subscribed threads are still sending me email notifications.
Is there a way to remain subscribed to those threads but not get notifications via email?
Thanks!
