They certainly have done a good job of marketing it over the years. The next couple of years will be interesting to see how they adapt and if they survive.
I'll certainly be heading to Bathurst when I collect the Mustang. Been around there more times than I can count, both in cars and on foot...
It'd be up to the teams and the category. Yes they could go to cheaper cars, like production, and if they maintained the same budget then they'd have bucket loads of money to spend elsewhere, wages and infrastructure as you say.
As it stands supercars are by far the most expensive category in...
We currently have sponsorship on several of the cars. Trust me, even if it wasn't a control category the budgets wouldn't change much if at all. Sure the teams would like to spend more but the market is too small to support their appetite unlike US based categories that have a massive market to...
It's a control category because after '92 it became nothing more than a marketing platform for Ford and Holden. Costs are a distant consideration.
Now that the category has become even more irrelevant they're struggling to find a way to survive against what are frankly better categories of...
My Sync 3, albeit in my Ranger, has been perfect. Only annoyance so far is it doesn't seem to have the concept of daylight savings so requires the time to be adjusted manually.
You might want to keep an eye on this. There's a 10w difference between the two hence having more light. At 12v that'll be around an extra 0.8a. Might be enough for canbus to notice the difference and start setting errors in your computer and if so once it reaches it's tolerance threshold will...
I can't say with any certainty but I think this is a deliberate comfort thing, a slow close of the throttle rather than snapping shut. My Ranger does the same thing. If you're actively braking it doesn't feel like it occurs but if you lift off the throttle and just coast it runs on a little as...
FWIW, I've heard in person two Mustangs with the same catback system. One also had headers and was significantly louder than the other car. Not so much just cruising but with the right foot mashed there was a big difference in volume.
Nice. Hadn't considered doing the pony under the bonnet as a highlight. I bought the US insulator and was going to cover it on mine but now you've got me thinking.
Spoiler is good as well. :headbang:
I haven't see the Mustang soft top up close. I'm assuming it's fabric rather than vinyl but I did have an MX-5 (still my favourite car, and I've had a lot of cars) for 9 years so can offer some general advice.
Soft brush (Vikan is the brand I use, have one for wheels, one for wheel wells...
I'm only on the roads around 45min a day. Over the past 5 years it's gone from catching maybe 1 incident a week on the dashcam to if I don't get at least one a day it's unusual. Of course some are very minor but there's also some very serious ones.
I'll either be keeping mine long term or getting rid of it fairly quickly. Either way I won't be buying another.
I keep my cars at least 3 years, unless I really dislike them, so in 2020 the S650 will be right around the corner but there's a rumour it'll be a hybrid. No way I'd ever buy a...
I've always wanted a Mustang but the massive price of the ones sold here new and converted to RHD ($120 - $180k) always put me off a they were a US$30k car at the time.
I'll be a little surprised if they do the Camaro for $100k, I'd bet on closer to $120k and that'll put off a lot of people...
I think it's a bit darker, and greyer. I've only seen one in person. A convertible parked under a big tree with the top down.
It looks like a grey with a slight green tinge in anything but full sun IMO when the green comes out a bit more.
Has to be the rarest colour in Oz IMO.
As were the strut brace and bonnet vents I believe.
It can be nice to vent sometimes but don't expect a serious reply if you get one at all. The MY18 specs will have been locked in some time ago, nothing is going to change that for us at this stage and don't be surprised if some of the options...
