What say you about the ZL1 weighing 97 pounds less than the CTS-V coupe while having a wider track and being on a bit fatter platform? Having bigger and wider wheels and tires as well.
Looks to me like pretty much all GM cars are dropping weight.
Track will get wider for Camaro. I'm not sure...
"puny ***got track".. Guess you hear something new every day. Again,
many people posted that the 99 pound loss wasn't curb weight, but chassis. That's exactly what GM said it was. Of course, you like to rag on them for some reason even though what you're saying is not true...
Because it's no fun. Few people in there are bat shit crazy and think it'll weigh 3,500 in v8 trim, most are normal and think it'll weigh 3,700-3,750.
I just think Pill can't give a good assessment due to his hate for Gm. Plain and simple. I also like to call our information that's posted...
Love GM? So, you're saying I'm posting on both forums, yet you're doing that exact thing and it's apparent that you love Ford. Chef must have left a big impression on here. Looks like getting banned isn't hard to accomplish and hope that doesn't happen to me for having a discussion. What's funny...
Let's everyone wait until weight is revealed then instead of making biased statements simply because one hates the company. Chevy sad it'll weigh less. Only Ford fanboys are disputing I because they don't want to see it. Chevy never said Corvette would lose curb weight, just that it lost...
Camaro is getting a wider track and it'll be about the same weight as the ATS across the board.
Nobody can come out and say THAT Chevy can't make a car to handle while keeping a straight face.
If I get the Camaro, I'll weigh it at the same time my buddy does his Gt PP. I bet they'll be...
So how did you get a 35 pound difference? I know you like to change your stories. ATS coupe and Mustang with 6 cylinder and auto transmissions weigh exactly the same.. I believe the manual Mustang weighs only 4 pounds less.. Where is the 35 pound difference coming from?
Base 6 cylinder ATS...
There you go again. You're using the curb weight of the Mustang, but the reported weight of an ATS when it was tested. How does that make any sense? Do you know what options or what trim that ATS was?
Curb weight for ATS is 3,530. Curb weight for automatic v6 Mustang is 3,530.
You're not as well informed on GM products as you think you are and you are throwing out false information.
First off, there is no such thing as an ATS 3.6 with a manual. Mustang is testing heavier too. You know why? Because they are optioned out cars.
Second off, an ATS 2.0 curb weight is...
Seems the stripes are definitely a love or hate thing. I do not like it in pictures, at least not in those colors. In silver, the car without stripes looks better I think. Congratulations and have fun!
The interior is pretty sweet. I think they need to lay off the chrome for the production version. Seems like a mash-up of a few cars, but it'll probably looks sweet and different in person.. Just not so much come, please.
That's just not true, Pill. GM themselves stated that 99 pounds was taken out of the frame. What the people and media spread is off the table.
Here they clearly state 200 pounds off curb weight for Camaro. If they don't deliver, they will let down a lot of people. I would be very disappointed...
