Is the vehicle to be used as a daily? Most of the shortcomings you listed in the Mustang can be addressed with the aftermarket (if you were planning on modifications). However, the shortcomings for the Camaro can't really be corrected at all. It all depends on what you're willing to live with.
As I understand it, warranty isn't really "voided" rather warranty work can be denied because of modifications, but of course that's just semantics.
For instance, if you add the intake, headers, E85 etc, and you blow the motor, the dealership may (and likely will) deny a warranty claim, because...
The car was certainly faster, but I think it was more fun on the street naturally aspirated. As for the sound, its a centrifugal supercharger, so it does not have that "whine" sound like some of the positive displacement superchargers. It sort of sounds like a jet engine turbine.

If you want cheap and loud consider the Pypes X-Bomb exhaust. It will drone like the Flowmaster Outlaw. Keep the OEM exhaust just incase you need to put it back to stock.
I have owned a 2010 and 2017 WRX and now a 2020 STI, I also have a 2017 Mustang GT as well. I've loved them all, but the Subarus are not meant for straight line, although they are fairly quick , especially with the right modifications. I prefer to daily the STI, the seating position I find more...
Interesting question! When it comes to this hobby, we're all putting money into a depreciating asset. So from a purely financial perspective it doesn't make much sense. This can apply to most hobbies, we don't really get into them to make money, but to enjoy the experience.
I recently had a...
