On my race e85 tune I average 16.5 mpg mixed driving, 93 octane is 21.6 mpg mixed driving. if anything a tune will get rid of the low rpm shutter off idle when accelerating It almost makes the car feel like it's surging when you feather the pedal to accelerate. Down fall of the snappy shifts...
Reliability problems shouldn't even be a factor. With 4 valves/ cyl, these motors do not need extreme lift which strains valve train typical of pushrod engines. I bet these high hp NV deals can live to 200k, if they are not living its life at 8k all the time.
I ordered my 2017 in May of 2016, told them I'd place the order and them said I was not done negotiating until I drive away. I wanted to follow the market up until I took delivery. The first one was damaged and the got me a new one 60 days later. They fixed my duplicate car and it still...
I see a few issues. here, First you had the item for a few weeks. It could have been caught by a visual inspection and this would have never had happed and the replacement part would have been there in time. Second, the shop, Why would they disassemble a car without matching the parts up first...
Cash at the Creek is this Saturday July 8th at Grove Creek, which is an 1/8th mile track west of Minneapolis The event will have some of the fastest small and big tire cars in the area showing up. I'm also looking for a few true radial racecars to run. They can be na or power adder.
OBX here. 550.00 from flebay, off roads came with 6 inch resonators that fit on the header collector. fitment was great, no need to relocate the o2's they are already tipped down. Only down fall was I needed to have 3 inches of tubing added to the ORP to attach the Corsa exhaust. excellent...
Common sense should prevail here, tunes are cheap. Do you actually think the are going to spend time forever working on your piecemeal modding? No way, If I bought a new item, I'd add that extra 50.00 into the cost. They cannot constantly revise tunes for free and still be profitable. If that...
I started out with someone mentioned here, car surged at warmed up idle and had a high initial start up idle to the tune of 1800 rpms for 3 minutes, until it calmed down when warmed up. The revisions came slow and never fixed the start up or idle problems which was mentioned several times. So I...
I know what you are saying and there is none of that. In my x275 car, when I drove to warm it up the 1-2 shift was neck breaking under 30 mph. The shifts feel like that under a full engine load and high rpms It's almost stock like driving around using light pedal.
My Lund tune shift's hard under hard acceleration but under normal driving it's great. My wife has yet to complain about the harshness daily driving it and she comes from a luxury car.
