  1. Roush Warranty

I would double check with your dealer, but I would think that anything after the Cats would be ok.
  2. S550 Roush Exhaust Don't sound like the S197 Roush Exhaust

WOTPULLS, Thanks for the info and I will check into that. I may just sell the stock Roush Exhaust. I would not need the rear valance as the 17 RS3 already has the Quad tipped exhaust, so it is open. Thanks again for all the part number.
  3. S550 Roush Exhaust Don't sound like the S197 Roush Exhaust

I have a 2017 Roush RS3 and it has the Active ready quad tipped exhaust. All tips are open, so it is fully open, and I have a X pipe , so open, But. I have had 3 different S197's 5.0 with the Round Roush Exhaust and they, to me, Sounded way better than the S550 Roush, The big oval muffler. We...
  4. Ages of M6G Members

I am surprised that there are not more in the 50+ age range as we would have grown up with the Mustang and now, free of the kids, more expendable money for Toy's, Mustangs and parts. I still have my T shirt that says, " Old Guys Rule" LOL.
  5. Ages of M6G Members

59 here, and doing very well. Have always been a Gym nut. Have always worked out and thru my last teens till late 30's raced Motocross, amature and turn local pro, so got some injuries from that and finally quit while I was ahead.' Had two friends that ended up paralyzed from racing injuries...
  6. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

The add on those wheels say they are Cast and if I am not mistaken, the Roush rims on my 2017 are Forged. Big difference.. I was thinking that all Real Roush Rims were Forged.
  7. The 18-21 is better looking than 15-17

"Plus I love the look of my Car, but most of us do". That should have read, Most of us like the looks of their own cars, as most of us do.
  8. The 18-21 is better looking than 15-17

Topic is totally subjective, but I'll throw my choice in. 2017. And once tuned and performance updated, the performance would be nil. Plus I love the look of my Car, but most of us do. This is a no win topic.
  9. 2019 GT350 or 2014 GT500, and why? Pros/Cons

Yep, All the above. There is a reason why I am now driving a 2017 Roush RS3, VMP tuned. LOL.
  10. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Oh Man, The limit bug again. If you go back several pages, this has been covered over many pages. There is a lot of good information on it, but may be hard to find due to this thread being longer than the Grapes of Wrath.
  11. 2019 GT350 or 2014 GT500, and why? Pros/Cons

Just a little more input on the 2013 GT500. I really did love that car. Had it 4 years and I bought it in late 2014, before the S550's came out. For a long time Mustang guy, I always had a goal that someday, I had have a GT500, and this 13 just happened at the right time. I think a lot of...
  12. 2019 GT350 or 2014 GT500, and why? Pros/Cons

My last car before this 17 Roush RS3 was a 13 GT500. The 13 is raw, powerful, last of a breed, last Shelby that Carroll Shelby had any input on. 200+MPH, torquey, fast and fun, But, could not put the power down, rough roads were a bear, but still a good car. But I am very happy to make the...
  13. GT vs GT350, Thoughts?

Just something from Roush Performance website. They feel good about the Roush RS3 on Track, which is boosted to 710hp. "ROUSH Stage 3 unleashes the true potential of the Mustang. The Stage 3 starts with Ford's powerful 5.0L V8 engine and adds a ROUSH Phase 1 Supercharger to produce an...
  14. GT vs GT350, Thoughts?

Some Boosted applications on a Road Racing Track may have too much power, so some may drop a pulley size or two, to decrease HP, less heat build up and to hook better. If the cars are set up correctly, I would think the boosted cars can be very reliable. But without differential coolers and...
  15. GT vs GT350, Thoughts?

A Shelby will always have the VIN that shows that it is a Shelby, where as a GT, even a Roush, will just show it as a Mustang GT. With that said, I used to have a 2013 Shelby GT500 and while I liked the car, the buying of parts was crazy. Almost everything was double the price. And if you blew...
  16. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I forgot about AZ, but I always heard that you will melt in the Summer. I know it's a dry heat, but if it 115, it's still 115 and that's Hot, LOL.
  17. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Man. The talk of Florida is starting to sound really good right now. Been in the Midwest all my life and you send half the year cold and freezing when the Floridan's are having a good time driving, etc. I still have a few years before retiring, but dam, that sounds good.
  18. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Just think, If those 10K stripes were Teflon coated. It would slip thru the air and reducer wind resistance, LOL. Right! Just kidding!
  19. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Wow, 25 HP for $4995. That's $199.80 per horse. Not a get value for sure. But, for some, they will buy!
  20. Understanding the Traction-LOK Diff

Very interesting info. After reading about the Torsen diff, it makes me wonder why Ford used them on the 2013-14 GT500's. I had a 2013 GT500 and the car seemed to hook well, when the surface of the road was not too rough. More of a problem with the solid axel probably than the Torsen diff.
