It was a local dealership and they already knew the car.
  2. What is your carvana sell offer for your Gt?

Well, Not Carvana, but I got an offer on my 2017 Roush RS3 and it was too good to say no to. So I sold my Roush and I never thought I would, but these are some crazy times and it may never get this much money ever again. I am not buying right now. Going to wait this Bubble out and for prices...
  3. Too Nice to Drive? Older and Wiser?

OP, here, You know, thinking about, in the Spring and Summer, my Car does get driven every weekend, just our meets and Car Shows are only 5-10 miles away, so the miles just don't stack up. Here it is, the day I am suppose to sell the Roush, and I can't sleep.
  4. Too Nice to Drive? Older and Wiser?

Carbide yes, with the warmer weather getting here, heck, I rode today. Only about 7 miles to work, so not a lot of miles there. The Goldwings are incredible.
  5. Too Nice to Drive? Older and Wiser?

Cobra jet To which my post earlier was about the same. " An Insult is not intended as really, the Roush is nothing more than a Modded Mustang GT Even The Shelby Super Snakes are Mustang GT's worked over by Shelby. I guess correct term would be lesser expensive up front.. "
  6. Too Nice to Drive? Older and Wiser?

When I buy these cars, they were never going to be daily drivers, just weekend, car show, cruise, cars. Our Winters can go from end of November till early March, salt, brine, sand, so they don't get out much between those months. The Motorcycles don't get out a lot either between those Months...

  8. Too Nice to Drive? Older and Wiser?

I guess I should also mention that I am heavy into Motorcycles,' which I do spend a lot of time riding with buddies, etc. I have both Cruiser and Sport bikes, and The Yamaha YZF R1 is my fix for speed, so the Roush does not feel fast after getting off the R1. So that also explains the low...
  9. Too Nice to Drive? Older and Wiser?

NoVaGT Yes, You nailed it. Emotions ruined the ownership and driving of these Cars.
  10. Too Nice to Drive? Older and Wiser?

Groups, I know that some will agree and others will say, drive the hell out of it, But. So over time, I have had several Shelby's, Roush, Etc. Mustangs. And I noticed that as the Cars got nicer, I drove them less for fear of someone crashing into it, scratches, etc., and they turned into...
  11. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

So I know this super long thread is about the 18+ Roush cars, but I wish there was more info exchanged with the 2015-17 Gen2 Roush powered Cars. There is not a thread going about those. I know it is the older generation now, but still a lot of them around.
  12. Time to play, Favorite brand Plugs!

While I have had no issues with my VMP 730 hp tune, I must admit, I am more than a little nervous about all this EPA crack down and the N Gauge no longer supported, so I wanted to try the Roush Phase 2, which I kind of like as it get the 727 hp by 7K rpm. So far the weather has not been really...
  13. Time to play, Favorite brand Plugs!

Stock 17 RS3 is 670hp. Over a year ago, did VMP's 730 hp kit, which is BAP, 82mm pulley, cooler Brisk plugs, and tuned with Ngauge and needed only 1 revision. Then a month ago, decided to go with the Phase 2 Roush. Both are right at 730 hp. Only thing I needed to change was the 80 mm pulley...
  14. Time to play, Favorite brand Plugs!

"Having recently changed the Tune on my 17 Roush RS3 From VMP tuned to Roush Phase 2, I noticed that while they are using the same heat Range, the Brands differ. Only difference is the Tune and Pulley size. Car already had BAP, Plugs, Still using the N Gauge to monitor and pulley. " Did not...
  15. H-Pipe Not Meeting Expectations

With an X or H pipe, and Roush exhaust, it is going to be loud, but that's the beauty of Active Exhaust, you can control the sound. I have the X pipe on my 2017 RS3 with non Active Exhaust and it's loud. Wide open all the time.
  16. Time to play, Favorite brand Plugs!

SolarFlare Looking at your specs on your car, you are running a lot more boost than I am, but it appears the Brisk plugs have worked out well for you. Your 1 heat range colder than what was spec'd for my car. Your flying that for sure.
