Its typical for some dealers but not acceptable. I'd move on to another dealer.

I want a red shift knob to compliment my red and black color scheme. I got one from CJ Pony and its not weighted and its doesn't fit well. Back to looking ...... I'm leaning towards one from Raceseng.

Yep, I have a gap. I could probably go tighter and I tried, but when I had a half of a rotation left, It was super tight and I didn't want to F something up. My dealer removes them on the lot because they get stolen. Maybe yours did too and they just tightened it until it was snug.

I believe I have a gap, I have taken mine off several times and played with another ball, I mean shift knob. I do remember stopping because the knob got quite tight. I'll double check in the morning.

The soft, scratches easily, thin black paint. Also is there a way to turn off the Tri-bar running lights.? I see a setting for daytime running lights but it doesn't seem to be for the Tri-bar lights.

May have, I could have missed that post. But I have seen it on these boards numerous times where people pay 2-3k for paint correction and coating. Thats why I said my remark of paying thousands. You cool with that big guy?

The issue is why should any owner have to fork out more money to fix a BRAND NEW paint job that shouldn't have been F'd to begin with. Everyone has their standards on what is acceptable as far as defects, scratches on a new vehicle. But a 70K + Shelby should not be swirled to hell and any owner...
