Yeah, they don't. I had an '08 M3 with this feature, and it was indeed cool, but you pay for it. I like the driving dynamics of Mustang GT's with the Coyote much better than the M3, though!
Just got off the phone with my dealer and he confirmed the seatbelt issue. He spoke to a Ford rep who said my car (built 9/29) will not be released until "at least November 30."
Also checked the Ford recall site with my VIN and it does show up.
:tsk:
No offense, but I hate you a little bit right now. Ordered 6/12, built 9/29, sitting in a parking lot in Michigan since then getting shit on by the elements. And no one can definitively say why.
Well, I think that's the thing. They don't admit that they screwed up because they don't recognize they screwed up. It's just the way they do things, business as usual.
Maybe (hopefully!) this applies to my car as well? Also a GT PP Convertible, same/similar build date.

Deysha,
Any update on 1FATP8FF2G5238017?
Thanks!
No, I'm still lurking here too. Ordered on June 12...
With the hold delay and the upcoming wet El Niño winter, I'll be lucky if I can put the top down before May.
(If I ever get my car.)
Hey all,
These seem like a good balance between performance, longevity, and price to me, and definitely better than the horrid stock Pirelli's.
But I'm no expert. Does anyone have any thoughts on these tires? They would go on a GT PP.
Thx.

You guys think you're tired of waiting? I ordered my car on June 12!!
:paddle:
So much for trying to get at the front of the line...

ORDERED 6/12/15
2016 GT PP Convertible 401A Magnetic RedLine Nickel Wheels Nav
42 years old here. I am proud to say I've never bought a car with an automatic tranny.
81 Toyota Starlet (my English dad insisted I learn to drive on a stick!)
86 Toyota Celica (the object of jealousy of many of my high school classmates)
89 Honda Accord (post-college transition car)
02 VW...
So my ordered magnetic/redline 'vert is due any day now (I hope!), but I can't seem to get progress updates from anywhere.
Sticker site and COTUS seem to be down, anyone have any other sources for info?
You get used to it really quick. My daily driver is a 2011 GT, the husband drives a 2015 GT Prem PP. The first few times I switched between the two, the brakes in the 2015 used to catch me by surprise. But now I can switch back and forth easily, I just know what to expect from each car.
I've got three dogs, and they ride in my 2011 Mustang all the time. My plate is:
DAWG PNY
(as in the Dog And Pony show...)
Not thrilled with the DAWG part (kinda cheesy), but it's the best I could do ... lotsa people in Cali with similar idea!!
Plan to transfer the plates to my 2016...
