I know. Quite a few do it but it's a no no. Unless you're on DRs or slicks it's a waste. And can be dangerous for others that are running slicks.

This or out on the west side take Kinney north from Ajo. It will take you past Old Tucson and the Desert Museum. Or if you take Campbell south from La Encantada you'll hit a nice stretch of curves.
