you have to, there is 26 timing, fuel tables, all which at a certain point need adjusting, then once cam timing is touched you need to play with even more. all up at present 17 timing/fuel tables are being manipulated. that's the easy part there's much harder stuff yet to come ;)
anything you...
public holiday yesterday meant could get it on the dyno, so far 391rwkw@6psi the WOT tuning is easy we have been concerntrating on down low, getting idles and mid range right, and today we did about 5 WOT runs, very happy with how tuning is going so far. She will be driven around the next few...
is there another NGK plug that is 1-step colder than the NGK 6510?
i'd personally prefer something a step colder than a 7 heat range plug with high comp E85 and 15psi+
we run 7's on other motors up to 25psi, i'd just feel more comfortable with an 8 in there
same, not sure what the factory fuel pumps will max out at, noone could give a definite number. once get a figure on 98-octane, which think will be between 440-470rwkw on 8-10psi through the manual (auto will be 10rwkw or so less) will push on to E85 and then a fuel system upgrade
supercharger kits you don't get any exhaust manifolds, this is where the problem with our Mustang's lays. if you get supercharger i would strongly recommend doing a full exhaust system.
bigger intercooler and getting air to it will definitely help.
water/meth injection pre-turbo also, that way will give the water/methanol time to vaporise and do it's job. try with a higher water content then work from there.
the problem is that IAT is measured pre-fuel so the good E85 does...
there's no real math to it as there is a few variables. for instance put a couple more psi in the slick and may pick up a mph. or you may have been losing traction with the radial allowing it to increase road speed.
seems too tight, being twin 62's you wouldn't be seeing much if any boost at 2600-2800rpm, it's locking up too early i'd get it loosened to 3500rpm at least.
great build, well done guys!
how much of a hassle was it fitting the TH400? we are putting a 'Glide in one shortly, curious to how much massaging, if any is needed for TH400/'Glide etc.
