I know this is an old thread but just noticed this on mine, did anyone's noise either go away or did anyone go to the dealership to get it addressed? If yes, what's the process for it?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can feel the heat. It doesn't bother me but this is both my first mustang and first v8 so just wanted to make sure. I appreciate the response!

I've also only noticed it at night. No idea why. Maybe cuz it's cooler outside at night and I feel the heat.

Auto. It was about 30 minutes, stopped to get food, then probably 45 minutes or an hour after that. I noticed it yesterday as well on a road trip that took about 2 hours

Is the 5.0 supposed to run hot? Been driving the car and feel heat next to my leg coming from the center console. I assume it's drivetrain heat. I could be wrong, and if I am please let me know so. But wanted to know if this is normal or not?

I did check the AC fans and it was that. Turning the AC off made it go away, thanks for the help!

Hmm, I'm not sure. Does it sound like it could be? Sorry, I don't have a bunch of experience with cars. I did mess with the fan setting for the first time today so I guess that could cause it?

No, I've seen that thread and mine isn't like that at all. If you listen to the video, at the 6 second and 13 second mark you can hear it. It's maybe more of a click? I don't know how to explain it very well, sorry.

That's the reason I asked. My camaro had it so I assumed the mustang would to. Not a big deal I mean I can use the gauge just fine but it is a rather obvious thing to include. Makes life a bit easier, but no biggie. Just asked to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Has anyone installed roush heat extractors on a 2016 model? Want to know how this will work with the turn signals being in the vents on the 2016.
